With this single つりビット has dropped out of ranking in the Top Ten on the Oricon weekly singles charts.

Natsuki sometimes seems unpleased with her team members, especially when they are just randomly phone recording each other and apparently doing so without so much as a, "by your leave". In this video she seems to be earnestly imparting some wisdom and both Ayu and Mizuki are attentive and in agreement and it ends with smiles all around. There is no audio but their obvious joy in the momemnt leaves me also smiling, but curious as to what it's all about.

Starting with Natsuki last year, each of the girls had a birthday celebration video uploaded to their TsuriTube channel and the last one was for my oshi, Ayu...

Though she only receives a tag line and never graces the cover of the magazines she is featured in, Sakura makes for some great filler material...

Because the France flag is wrong way round .. it start with the Blue on the left ..
The Netherlands flag will be more accurate and it is in the twitter icon list ..
Basically if you going to ignore the fact that the color is wrong in arrangement .. there are plenty of flag icon on twitter that is red, white and blue that looks nicer ..
While I think there is no purposeful intent .. I think it does show subconscious biasness

Mizuki and Sakura have been participating in the TOKYO IDOL NET アイドルカメラ部 (Idol Camera Section) for several months and had their last SHOWROOM a couple of weeks ago.

They have now been replaced in the Idol Camera Section by 鹿沼亜美 (Kanuma Ami) of ONEPIXCEL and 江嶋綾恵梨 (Ejima Aeri) of nijimasu.

With all those photography lessons and practical experience, it only stands to reason that  Mizuki would be assigned to Pop'n'Roll as an Assistant Editor-In-Chief and she did a fine job with this series of snap shots.

Both Mizuki and Sakura uploaded some off shot photos from the 「プリマステラ」 MV filming to the つりビット blog. Mizuki mentioned that she wants everyone to view the MV at least 5000 trillion times and Sakura made some short observations of all the members.

The closest I ever came to interacting with つりビット was during SHOWROOM almost exactly one year ago when my ID was Half^Wave.



At the end of each broadcast (00:46:00); they would do a shout-out to the three people on the center stage winners podium, starting with 3rd and ending with 1st.

This day I was 1st but all the girls had a real hard time reading and understanding my ID but eventually with their staff's help they got out that shout-out. My Japanese is much worse than their English but while they were struggling I posted:

They read my comments and then followed with a second even more heartfelt shout-out and that cemented my adoration of つりビット.

Some of the members, Mizuki, Natsuki, Ayu, seemed surprised by the suddeness of the disbandment but Aya and Sakura did not. Since that day, those last two seemed to begin a slow social media disengagement from つりビット and their fans.

Since she first posted this, and up until last Saturday, Sakura had it pinned to the top of twitter and at one time it seemed she planned to continue in gravure, but since 「Weekly Young Jump」 2019 No.1 was released, she has made no further mention of it.

―epilogue―

This is not an actual epilouge in the sense that life beyond the end of the story for the main characters is summarized because we don't know what that will be, but it is simply a recap of the つりビット members final SNS posts.



Over the last week KisspointRecords has been releasing full length versions of the つりビット music videos that had only been available in a short version or not available at all. This last one is unlisted on YouTube and they waited until the final day of つりビット's run to only publish the link to it on the official twitter. The song is about departures and it was held to the last to allow the emotion of the song which the girls display in the video to blend with our own as we say goodbye to つりビット.

This twitter post will be the last official notice we get from つりビット and they thank everyone for all the love during the last 6 years.

In a blog post on 3/22 she apologized for her absences and thanked everyone for their support while she worked to complete the entrance examinations and research required for her university application. She wrote of her accomplishment with passion and though she was able to achive it while doing idol activities, it required a lot of adjustments to her schedule.

★ 人生で初めて、自分がいきたいと思ったところに、自分の力で立ち向かって、入り口まで辿り着けたこと。
☆ For the first time in my life, where I wanted to go, I stood up with my own strength and reached the entrance.

Natsuki had always marched to a different drum and she worked to learn new things beyond the normal idol skills, like earning her Boat Operators's Permit in 2017. She doesn't mention what her degree program is but to my mind, university is now Natsuki's only priority.

Have not seen any direct declaration from her, but in the past several months, Sakura had spent a lot of time with Hotaru and Yumeri of Super☆Girls and the pictures all three posted were mostly taken at Tokyo Disneyland. Hotaru posted this after the つりビット members did their last twitter posts so there was no reply or retweet, but it seems to make reference to the blog posts from Sakura stating that she is an Idol and Ayu's waking from a dream.

This doesn't read like a, I'll see you later; it reads like a, goodbye.
