Sunmyu is an idol group formed in 2012 after a member selection. The selection could be followed through Sun Music’s Nico Nico Douga channel, including recorded and live shows. The final selection was made on a live show. After the management selected a bunch of members, the rest until ten, was selected through vote on screen by the people watching it (I only voted once, just to check, so probably I ruined somebody’s life, %s were told to their faces on camera). It was quite a sad event. Since then, two members had left the group (one of them, Nakayama Masae, a couple of months ago).
The members are (left-right, top-down): Kyogoku Tomoka, Nishizono Mizusu, Yamauchi Haruka, Kobayashi Yayoi, Noda Mami ,Kinoshita Ayana, Hasegawa Reika and Niihara Sena. Website, blog, Twitter:

Sunmyu released two indie singles before signing with Pony Canyon. Since then, they released “Kuchibiru Network” (#57 on Oricon weekly charts) and Hoho ni Kiss Shite (#91). After chrashing and burning with their last one, they are going to release “Natsu Matsuri” next week.
