So, AKB members wants something similar too Which make me wonder what could possibly top these sister-group announcements. The answer is... you can't. Could aim for some solo appearence at some huge stadium but it would just be stupid. Venues like Nissan or a dome are way cooler to imagine than the final result actually is. 

You will most likely be seated too far from the girls that you came to see perform and that sort of takes away the point of idols. Maybe I'm just bitter that I've never been to a concert yet and just feel like I need to complain

However, that Nissan announcement was something huge but I thought that, if I had the choice, I would choose to go to one of the Budokan concerts instead... and when I thought about it some more... What I most of all wanted to see was NMB in a tent outside of Nissan with just a few hundred fans that really wanted to be there.

 

After four Tokyo Dome concert it wouldn't feel that innovative to just announce another one. I'd say, go for an arena solo tour instead even if it would butthurt some fans.

besides stuff that has to happen to sister groups only thing I can think of that might happen for akb at TD is agency changes. Wonder where they go from here though. Performance on the moon?

that is a bit too far. Let start something closer like full members/groups concert tour in Asia.

Are the current dome concerts sold out by now, btw? During last 'Eizo Center' Sasshi showed a sign where it looked like only half of the concerts were sold out by then.

What's the point in planning more dome concerts, if you can't sell out the current ones, right?

Yesterday or 2 days ago I read that weekday (THU) concert is not sold out. The rest is sold out.

Concert 1 of 4 done!

 

Came in pretty late to pick up my tickets as I got out of the exit and I'm pretty sure I took the long way to get to gate 25.  Luckily, there were no line ups for the super enpou tickets and it was an easy enough process.  Showed my ticket and passport to security and I had to point to my name and passport number on the ticket for him

 

I was on the top floor, but only 6 rows up so I had a good view of everything.  Had to look at the screen the whole time as I didn't have any binoculars.

 

Atmosphere was amazing and the crowd was definitely more louder than in Sapporo.  Oh before entering we all get green penlights for Team K/Sayaka and I get another team surprise fan which had a different picture on the other side compared to my other one.

 

Highlights of the top of my head:

Mayuyu rocking the twin tails

Sayaka wearing some sort of head gear with a white gorilla on top and brown fur covering one of her arms while acting like a gorilla during a performance

Jurina's finger's not covered up anymore

Everytime Sayaka or team K performed, everyone brought out their green penlights

Skirt, Hirari - wearing the old uniforms and during the performance you would see old video clips of the same members when they were younger singing the same song

Love the piano intro to pony tail no shu shu, I never get tired of that

Instead of an encore chant we get a Sayaka chant in a sea of green penlights

Yuko took the graduation pretty hard and was crying a lot

Seeing graduated members of Team K was cool...I get to see Kasai

During her graduation song, team K members were in a circle and Sayaka was walking around them as she sang.  Some pretty sad faces and Yuko had her face in her hands as she cried

Towards the end, Sayaka walks towards the front of the stage between two lines of girls.  Of course, Takamina was crying and gave her a hug

Some lucky fans got towels from the girls

Team B oshi is awesome

Mushi no Ballad ends and there's a single tear by Sayaka....for the most part she was all smiles during the concert

 

That's all from what I could remember so far and it's early.  Can't wait for the next concert and I hope I'll get better seats!
