Scored arena seats for the Sapport concert and had a heart attack when I had to use my passport for my ID, but they let me in anyways :D

Being my first AKB concert, I was happy to see Aachan...of course, Mariko graduates and I don't get to see her lol :P

FYI I'm not a super hardcore AKB fan, I just watch AKBINGO and listen to their singles.  Concerning idols, I've attended many H!P concerts...mainly Morning Musume, few H!P winter/summer concerts, and Dream Morning Musume.

Highlights for me (from what I can remember):

Production value/stage setups of the concert just really puts H!P concerts to shame wow....I've only seen bits of AKB concerts, but to be there...just wow (again lol).

Wide range of people at the concert (kids, adults, teens, lots of female fans, etc.)

Aachan getting emotional and chanting her name was fun

M14 Tonari no Banana (Kashiwagi Yuki, Matsui Rena) - I think Yukirin might have supplanted Mayu as my oshi...dunno what it was but she was just awesome during the performance and the rest of the concert.  That and she likes Rika...so that's a plus in my book ;)  and Rena trying to wink lawl.

Jurina with her broken finger...what a trooper...ok it's not a broken leg, but still....

Akimoto Sayaka....wow she's just smexy...it's funny that's she always looks so serious during the concert and then she cracks a smile...wish she would do that more often.  Although she was all smiles during Kokoro no Hashi no Sofa :)

Always had a soft spot for Mocchi and she was always around my area.  She was all smiles throughout the concert :)

Melon Juice is such a fun song

The new unit name is cute even though I have no clue what it means :D  Song's catchy with the chyu part

Takamina demonstrated the fortune cookie dance where she angrily puts together the onigiri

Lots of support for Miichan from the female fans, everybody was happy to see her

Everybody getting free penlights and team surprise fan (useful as it got hot inside)

I need to learn that damn chant haha :D

Looking forward to the Tokyo Dome concerts :)

Great to hear you had a good time Ketchup :)

Concerts from the 48G family to me is always a highlight. They just manage to make such great concerts, whether the area where concert is held is big or small, so it's fun.

Now go memorize the chants ;)

If you feel the need to practice, just watch the 48G concerts released. The fans are highly organized and chants and mix is an integral part of all the lives, and it's done quite well so it's easy to learn by watching :)

Tokyo Dome:

And a smaller (but no less intense) variant:

One of the recent singles had the MIXes in lesson form as a bonus on the DVD. Can't remember which one though...Give Me Five maybe?

Anyway, I only really know the TIGER FIBER RIBER... one cause it's very fun to do with "Ponytail to Shushu." :P  I just kind of BS my way through the other ones. :D I like joining in on the introductions more than the chants personally.

Yeah I think it was GM5, but unfortunately there's an error in the lesson during the part where they show "Everyday, Kachuusha". They are using this song as an example where the song starts with (aaAAH YOSSHYA IKUZO)MIX1->MIX2->MIX3. What they somehow managed to overlook, is that the song starts with (aaAAH YOSSHYA IKUZO)MIX1->MIX2->(aaAAH YOSSHYA IKUZO)MIX1 again. So they completely messed up this part.

Then there's certain songs that got their own mix, for example Team K's Kaiyuugyo no Capacity, or how Dareka no Tameni has the crowd sing two lines from the song, or how Kagami no naka no Jeanne D'Arc even allows for a Sasshii mix to be used at a certain point.

Seeing the N3 preview is very, very promising because I think I can finally start to hope for N3 to come.

Also, M13, M15, M16, M18, M19 looks nice. All in all though a concert I look forward to watching.

Man, those unit songs look so good.

And if Aki-P's rate of one song every two years holds steady and doesn't get tripped up by more pachinko songs, shonichi for N3 should be sometime in 2043! Can't wait! :D

Back to hometown domination again :D

...and back to nice surprises and announcements :D

An acustic version of Dazai Osamu wo Yonda ka?  Well, Jungle Gym turned out to be quite godly with just a guitar.

Awesome units! All these units during the tour will be something to look forward to.

Uuka center for Seishun no Laptime.

Surprises and nice announcements...

That N3 song is such an evil tease. Damn guy...

Mienai Sora ha Itsudemo Aoi with Yuihan as center is very nice. So, maybe the senbatsu for this song is a bit unsurprising though.

Solo concert for NMB in Jo Hall is huge :D

Can't think that there will be more announcements of this magnitute tomorrow. I will not complain though, no need to.

It's basically another full-scale audition, but this time with the actual captains of the teams of each group actually having the final say on who they want to bring into their group as a kenkyuusei. Nothing regarding current kenkyuusei.

The article mentioned that they were trying to make something similar to drafts in baseball.

The article also mentioned that the team captains were already deciding on what type of girls they want.
