Rio really was off my radar. I don't even remember seeing her until today.

Like a few had said, she has that Kaneko feel going but the difference is that Rio actually look good with her short hair. Kaneko never got to look this good becoz short hair didn't suit Kaneko.
Rio has the face for short hair.

Congrats to Rio.   It's amazing to think that the spazzy girl from the S/Mileage auditions will now become a leader of an H!P group.

 

I see a big future for her on talk shows.

She loves H!P and said she only listens to H!P music. Auditoned for S/mileage and for 10th gen, still wanted to be part of H!P so she auditoned for the KSS. She never gave up on her dream, real happy for her.

I love looking at the S/M audition footage because you can now play there where are they now game? Just within H!P from the 3rd round you have the 5 who got through then:

 

Murota - eventually joins the 3rd gen. when they've changed their name.

Sakura - Vocal centre of MM.

Yuka - Leader of Ju=Ju.

Karin - Centre of Ju=Ju.

Sayuki - Vocal centre of Ju=Ju.

 

Now Rio a probable second leader of another major unit.

 

You can see the future of H!P for the next 5-10 years in that one room three years ago.

I actually ended up liking Rio when I was on a manhunt for Oura Hirona. I ended up on Rio's wiki and bookmarked it, so every time I go on H!Pwiki I see her page first. In the end, she looked the most like Hirona and had similar interest to me so I started liking her. I super happy she is going to debut.

Right now, what catching me about her is that she is more fearless, and doesn't seem to shrink in anyone's presence, I love girls like that.

I was playing the bulldog game with Okai Chisato-chan,

and when she pinched my cheek so hard after losing I said it hurt,

Fujii-chan was the only one of the trainees who said

“I’ll be your opponent!”,
and challenged Chisato!(°_°)

Ah, let me tell you, Chisato is really strong, and her pinch is completely painfulΣ（゜д゜lll)

Their battle went on for a long time,

They said their selling points and resolutions. 

After the surprise announcement. Maimi told the impressions.
Maimi: 
Ahh, It's a really important job.It's my first job as the leader of H!P.
For them, it was really important moment.
I got nervous to announce it.
I know they all are hard worker.
When I see their tears, I thought they will have a lot of feelings. 
I was glad that they were chosen for the unit.
I hope they will not forget the joy and resolutions forever.
I think they have great spirits "I'll do my best!" now.
I hope they always look up and keep on moving forward!
Probably, a lot of difficulties will be waiting for them.
At the time, I hope they Eight will unite the powers and struggle with them together and overwhelmed them.
