Team Syachihoko (チームしゃちほこ Team Shachihoko) is a Japanese female idol group consisting of 6 schoolgirls from the city of Nagoya
Team Syachihoko was formed by the Stardust Promotion talent agency and is therefore a sister group of two other girl groups managed by the same agency, Momoiro Clover and Shiritsu Ebisu Chūgaku.
In August 2012, it was announced that the group would debut on the Warner Music Japan record label that autumn, on October 31. The details were to be announced on a later date. In support of the major-label debut, from September 2 Team Syachihoko was to start its first concert tour. On October 31, 2012, Team Syachihoko released its first major-label single, titled "The Stardust Bowling". The single reached 17th place in the weekly Oricon charts. On April 24, 2013, the group will release its first live DVD.
