As with my other reports, Silent Siren's Concert Report comes with lots of pictures from my little camera.  Read about their San Francisco date here

^ SUUper-long kawaii.

I'm in the queue at their LA show and there are way more people here than I thought there would be. For the past month I thought the show would get cancelled due to low sales, but fortunately that's not the case :)

Edit: The concert just ended and it was awesome. The first and probably only time I will see them from the front row. It was a small crowd, maybe 125-150, but we were pretty loud for them. There were definitely a lot more fans at their Jakarta and Shanghai concerts earlier in their tour, but since they tend to perform in the same overseas cities (Jakarta 3x, Hong Kong 2 or 3 times, Taiwan 2x, and San Francisco 2x) hopefully they will return to Los Angeles next year despite the low attendance.

Sloppy recap of their Los Angeles show:

They recently finished their two Budokan concerts and they wore the same outfits at this show. Last year I think they wore new outfits just for their world tour. Only mentioning because last years outfits were cuter :S It was basically a typical Silent Siren concert :). Sometimes when groups from Japan perform overseas the concerts are a lot shorter, but the show was standard length (2 hours). In place of Suu and Hinako talking endlessly between songs like they do in Japan, they did an audience Q&A, and I'm pretty sure some of the questions were the same as last year (their favorite bands, favorite Disney movie). The attendance was higher than last year and the crowd was louder (and cringier). They tweeted that they sold out of the VIP tickets and I unofficially counted 75 in the VIP queue. The tickets were $90, so hopefully that helped offset their traveling expenses and break even.

This was the setlist (in random order)

Just Meet
Hatchigatsu no Yoru
What Show is It?
Fujiyama Disco
Cherry Bomb
Guruguru Wonderland
Bang Bang Bang
Joshikou Sensou
Sweet Pop
Secret base (cover)
They said they would come back next year. Hopefully they do. I feel like they do these U.S. shows just to check off a box that says they performed overseas though. In which case, thank you box that says they performed overseas. :)
