I hope Maaya will do her solo song EMERGE!! for a last time ..
I do not think they can perform the SOL song GALAXY when it is already confirmed officially that Maho and Lana would not be performing
then it would not be fair if they do LUNA song Don't you wanna kiss and not do SOL's GALAXY

But honestly I hope they would release these final 2 songs of GEM even if there are not full group songs
I can only find onesnowyday videos that is a good version of the songs ..
I hope to get the studio version .. for keep sake .. I do not want the songs to be forgotten .. there are their last work ..

Basically I am killing myself watching stuff like these ..


We can really heard their singing voice .. it really show how much they have improved ..
I felt that they are actually peaking and are at their prime ..
They are chopped when they can be finally at the best versions of themselves and they have built this fan culture in GEMILY that even many of the better known group do not have ..
I think if nothing had happen .. and Maaya coming back middle this year .. they will be great ..
Its just such a waste .. I can't believe it ..

Ya .. I am sticking with them to the end and probably end together with them ..
I will erase everything of my life for these past 10 to 11 years ..
But I will still keep an eye on my no.1 idol MM'18 Maria ..
If I am able to get the GEM final live ticket .. it would be my 2nd last trip to Japan ..
The last will be Makino Maria graduation and that would be my final end..

Yeah...I don't think they'll be doing SOL or LUNA songs at all. 

Especially without Maho or Lana, it just wouldn't be fair if they did one and didn't do the other. 

I do want to see Maaya do EMERGE one last time though, preferably like how they did it in the BEST 10CT live, where Maaya starts out alone, and the other members end up coming out to sing/dance with her. 

 

I already know I can't go to their final live, so I'm hoping they at least will be able to live stream it...it they don't do at least that, it really would be way too sad. My oshi's last live with her group after coming back...and there's a chance I might not be able to see it...the thought itself is depressing. 

 

But well, I'm excited to see when Maaya will finally be back with the other GEMbers. I hope they'll post some pictures of them together. 

 

Idk if this will end my idol love, but for sure, there won't be another group that I loved as much as GEM

If the GEMbers keep their SNS/create new ones I'll probably stay around to update this thread from time to time

Mahochi had a instalive for the first time in a while!

(she actually had one yesterday too, but I missed it cause I forgot to turn on notifications for her new account )

 

I was kinda half asleep when I was recording this so I honestly don't remember what she was talking about...I'll re-listen later. And of course, she's in the middle of a bath while instaliving again. 

I did ask her what she was planning on putting on her youtube account, but she said she was still thinking about it. 

 

And also, on Yuuki's instagram story, you can see that the GEMbers met up again

wow .. good that she try to explain .. but it does not give anymore info than all the fans already know ..
So ok then .. my fav group of all time is brought down because 2 members decide to have a meal with friends .. cool ..

I just hope in time .. even if its many year later .. we would finally know ..
kind of like British dance-pop group Steps whom I like .. the group after 10years had a reunion and told the truth on their sudden disbanding .. but they were really big ..

So .. what is Lana and Maho now? .. hiatus or already out ..
Again .. I do not like the way it is handled ..
I know GEM is ending .. but I think convenience is not the way to go ..
If they are out of the group .. let us know .. officially ..
Its just odd and unfair that the 2 of them are like running on their own progressing themselves ..while the members still in GEM ain't progressing in anyway as they are set for the end ..

That's why I ain't following .. I would only follow their "after GEM" when everyone start their new live and direction ..
I am not going to give Lana and Maho a head start .. I want to be fair to all members ..

In the end .. I always try to be objective even if it someone I like ..
I find it kind of a lie .. about Maho saying she goes out for meals with friends ..
She forgotten that she also celebrated her birthday with friends ..

In the end .. my question is ..
What sort of friend(s) is that if they could give up GEM and everything they work for .. just for "meals with friends"
either the meal or the friend is really important
I guess she didn't understand and dunno how to weight the situation ..

This made me think of my friend who lies to girls that he has no girlfriend because he is technically telling the truth .. because he is married ..

So...idk if you guys heard or were keeping up to date on things...but basically:

 

A couple days ago was when the fanclub had their ticket lottery, and a lot of people lost in the lottery (which is rare). 

A lot of people were complaining on twitter. 

 

And so today was when the tickets were sold for "first come, first serve". 

And according to one of my friends on twitter, it sold out in less than a minute

So...............definitely not a big enough venue. 

Should been at Zepp or something instead tbh. Definitely at least more than 1k seats. Like, this is just so sad. 

Any one of guys try to get it?

But we shall see if its because they are that popular or just people trying to make some money buying them out ..
We know that the iDOL Street fans generally ain't the kind, caring, sharing, sweet and loving .. kind of people .. so there is little doubt in my mind ..

Anyway .. I guess that is out of my reach and ability to do it .. so I probably got to give up ..
At least I can say I have except for Monamin, met and handshake all of them more than once ..
even if I never been to their lives .. I been to idol fest and mini-live event which they performed in ..

There are many many things I hope for .. like talking to Maaya as she know English now ..unlike when I met her in 2015 where she only can say "hello" ..
But I believe all these can still be fulfill as long as they stay in the industry ..
So I am just preparing to move to "after GEM" .. all 11 of them .. as long as they are still in the business or in public media eyes .. I will support and follow them ..
and that is my final journey of my fandom ..

The place isn't very big (capacity sitting is 40, 60 for standing), but I still think it's pretty amazing they still have a lot of support from GEMILY  

 

Also, Maho had an interview for a part-time job yesterday  

And Rana apparently already has a part-time job. Seems like they're starting to immerse into the real word already...

These just gives me the feeling that they are both not with Avex anymore ..
Basically seem that they are not contracted with any agency ..

I dunno ..
Firstly .. as I said Avex is very forgiving by history .. so what they do wrong that they look like they have been sacked?

It seem right that they are trying to get something going or trying to start afresh ..
But it just don't give me the good feel ..
The rest are like struck now .. doing all the random stuff until their last concert ..
while this 2 are like doing events bringing the focus of the fans to them ..
Especially when this 2 probably are the ones that cause them to disband ..
I am officially unhappy about this ..

Ever since they made new twitter accounts, it was more or less confirmed that they left avex already...

It's just, management doesn't even bother with "graduation" or an official statement that they left. 

Probably cause they'd just give us the explanation "circumstances within the group" again. 

So whether or not they give an explanation, would've made no difference anyways. 

 

I think them holding a small birthday party event is something good for them. So at least they can see some of the fans and possibly have a good talk with some of them? 

I mean, right now, the other GEMbers really don't have much to do other than to wait until the last live comes. And the only reason it's this late was probably because there was no venue open up until the end of March. 

 

Lana doesn't officially start activities until April, which I think is her way of waiting until all things officially end for GEM. 

The birthday party event is more like just a small meet up I guess. 

Since fans won't be able to see them at the last GEM live anyways. 

 

Since we'll never actually know what happened behind the scenes, I'm just going to follow along whatever the girls decide to do.

Basically .. I just see them having fun here and there ..
I do see Jurin, Kako and Sara going to dancing lessons and are posting their dances video ..
This actually gives me the feeling that none of them is going to stay an idol except for Hirari and maybe Maaya ..

They haven't really been up to much at all lately. 

Some of them either go to dance lessons or are meeting up with friends or going to concerts or something. 

 

I'm really glad to see some of the GEMbers post more videos of their dance lessons  

It took a while, but Kako finally got back into posting more. 

 

Idk if you guys have noticed, but lately there have been a lot of news articles about the girls. 

Specifically Hirari and a couple other of the girls. 

Not sure if they're doing this cause they're about to disband or something, but there have been a lot. 

 

I wouldn't mind if some of the girls end up joining some other group so long as it's not in iDOL Street anymore. iSt seems to be dying slowly right now. 

 

Also, Rana has announced another event that will take place in late April, so roughly 2 months from now. 

She's collaborating with a 1FINGER member as well as Sunmyu's Sena
