GEM which stand for Girls Entertainment Mixture is the 3rd group from iDOL Street after SUPER☆GiRLS and Cheeky Parade.
On 25th December 2012, The group formation was announced during SUPER☆GiRLS EveryBody JUMP!! 2012 FINAL 〜X'mas Special〜 at Nakano Sun Plaza.
11 Street-sei (trainees) were selected and that a finalized line-up will be announce in June 2013. Each member is represented with their gem and color code.

Left to Right: Kanazawa Yuuki (Amethyst), Morioka Yu (Citrine), Murakami Rana (Emerald), Kumashiro Jurin (Black Diamond), Uchimura Risa (Diamond), Takeda Maaya (Star Rudy), Asakawa Nana (Rose Quartz), Iyama Maho (Fire Opal), Sakamoto Hazuki (Rhodolite Garnet), Ozeki Nagi (Sapphire), Minamiguchi Nana (Aquamarine).
On 1st April 2013, 3 more members were added from Street-sei, Ito Chisami (Pearl), Oguri Kako (Alexandrite) and Hirano Sara (Peridot); bringing the number of members to 14.

On 11th June 2013, finalized line-up was announced during SUPER☆GiRLS 3rd Anniversary SP Idol Street Carnival Nippon Budokan ~Chouzetsu Shoujotachi no Chousen~ at Nippon Budokan.
10 members was selected in the finalized line-up.

On 6th July 2015, Ito Chisami went on hiatus and return on 1st October 2015
On 18th March 2016, Iyama Maho went on hiatus and return on 13th April 2016
On 25th June 2016, Takeda Maaya went on hiatus to study in Los Angeles for 2 years, after her final activity at iDOL Street Carnival 2016 6th Anniversary 〜RE:Я|LOAD〜
On 25th June 2016, Nishida Hirari and Noguchi Monami join the group as 2nd gen during iDOL Street Carnival 2016 6th Anniversary 〜RE:Я|LOAD〜
