C-ute can consist of 5 members but still has high sales. However, not a single current H!P group can function very well when the number of members falls below 8, except when the groups have someone as popular as Suzuki Airi, Miya or Momochi.

If you never let members do anything legendary, they never become legends...

Also, FWIW- Miya and Momochi only sold more than 50K copies of a single in their group's "good bye" single.  So... dunno what kind of example you're making. Neither particularly more or particularly less than J=J.

 

I'm sure that the bigger groups are more profitable, because the agency keeps making them bigger though.

It'd be really nice if we got a single with Mifu in November or December and then Aarii's grad single 4-5 months later; but I'm sure it'll  be another debut/grad single. And it'll be about 8 months from now.

 

At least their TIF was pretty decent.

Speaking of Mifu, I'm in the middle of watching Hot Stage, and it seems like Mifu had some kind of mishap. It's at 21:20, Ruru comes over to see if she's okay in the middle of Pride Bright. The show goes on. Was there any announcement?

Doesn't seem to be anything serious. It seems more something like an "are you good" or "are you hot?" thing, but is megacute see Ruru in this motherly role.

 

Mifu's face looks very serious during all the show, but is the normal thing in a beginner. The nervous of don`t doing a mistake still don´t let her enjoy the shows.

I was in Tokyo last month, stayed at the Sunshine City Prince in Ikebukuro. One afternoon I came across Juice=Juice performing at the main stage of the shopping area. Everywhere was packed of course, but I managed to get a few shots off before the copyright police (gals holding "NO PICTURES" signs) ordered me to cease and desist.
