Glorious indeed
And...
Considering the pricetag for this ablum is double the one for a single.

It's probably going to reach 350k at this rate, which is really really good.
But I wish there was a surge to make it reach 400k.

At #1 still, and today with 8,867 sold. Total of 302,432 so far.

The sales are amazing SKE made a powerful statement with their latest release... NMB gave their answer.
Teppen Tottande! is the best selling album of the year now. Only 3 months into the new year though and some big names should be releasing something during the remaining 9 months. Going to end up very high regardless though.
Lily is a great song. Just needed to say that.
Teppen Tottande! Obvious cooperation moments for the audience and I want to be a part of those Is it ok if I ask for more of these parts in future songs?
Ha! was great

Down to #2 today, but #1 only 1000 or so copies ahead - so no worries. Today with 6,668 sold, and a total of 317,436 so far.

Ah, that's one okonomiyaki that didn't get cooked. Hope they cook one good for tomorrow.

Even if they went down to #2, the sales are excellent. After the first couple days, I didn't think it would continue to sell that much, but it looks like the NMB wave is still rolling.
And that truck is awesome. I've never seen one playing music before. Do the 48 groups often have trucks like that?

Erin.,
I remember AKB48 with Ponychou or Ebikachu had a whole horde of them driving around. It's common, at least from 48.
It does ensure visibility, like "Oh, it's that group, hmm... maybe their release is good" etc. so a chance for more customers. But yes pollution

From Oricon:
Weekly #1 and a first weekly total of 328,000 sold.
http://www.oricon.co...c/2022289/full/
They sat some records too, but I cannot properly get the meaning.

Well, the first one was basically them being the first female artist since Uchida Yuki to take 1st in weekly rankings for both their debut single and debut album (Uchida claiming this was close to 18 years ago) and the first female group to do so.
They also achieved selling more than 300k copies on the first week, which was something only Mr. Children and AKB48 could do so far (according to the article).
The only blemish in NMB48's career so far was Nagiichi taking only 2nd place, breaking what would have been a streak (which is ironic because Nagiichi is the single that sold the most for them so far).

Thanks

Pollution? It is powered by love and happiness... inhale the fumes and buy the album
To be up against Arashi at that point of their career was a given 2nd place but it was a good fight though.
Splendid first week

Heh, I still believe Johnny's deliberately challenged NMB to keep NMB from creeping up on their numerous "#1 since debut" records. It's no accident Johnny's, an agency notorious for gunning for #1 releases, would just "happen" to release a single for their biggest group against the only 48 group they could beat, only a month before another Arashi single.
They did similar things against Nogizaka46 and Not yet to end (or in Nogizaka's case, prevent) #1 debut streaks. It almost backfired against Not yet until they scheduled emergency handshake events for other groups for buying the single. Maybe I'm paranoid, but just keep an eye on Johnny's release patterns vs. HKT when Johnny's has an idea what HKT is going to sell.

Well, can't really help it as they know how to play dirty while being legal. It's just showbusiness unfortunately.
The thing is though, most of their groups can't take on AKB, and are barely evenly matched with SKE. With the 48 group grabbing more female fans, they still have a solid grasp on things. The main problem is how to sustain those sales. I'm sure Akimoto has something planned for that though.
