What's the point of even doing the poll if you don't care if the counting is correct?

I finally smarted up and used a spreadsheet to take the counting errors out of it. This is just for Morning Musume, so feel free to do the other groups if anybody wants. I didn't count the final vote that was after the deadline.

Let's break it down!
First off the Total Point ranking for Morning Musume:
1st: 964 points, Sayumi(7.2 avg), with a big win.
2nd: 661 points, Mizuki.(6.06)
3rd: 573 points, Masaki.(6.3)
4th: 559 points, Eripon.(5.76)
5th: 535 points, Ayumi.(5.14)
6th: 514 points, Reina.(6.27)
7th: 510 points, Kudo.(5.15)
8th: 483 points, Riho.(5.49)
9th: 457 points, Zukki.(6.01)
10th:399 points, Haruna.(5.7)
11th:217 points, Sakura.(4.7) Not a bad showing for being brand new.

First place vote rankings:
1st: 32 Sayumi
2nd:16 tie Reina and Masaki
3rd: 13 Mizuki
4th: 10 tie Kudo and Zukki.
5th: 9 Riho
6th: 8 Haruna

7th: 5 Eripon(oops forgot to add her numbers here)
8th: 2 Sakura

^ I understand!. Indeed! There's no point!
But it's already knew that in some cases the difference of 1-2 points from different counts does nothing, but other cases it makes you rank higher with three numbers...
I know that.
But I think there's also no point in counting again...and wake up with different counts again.

Then there's also no point for you to create this poll in the first place if in the end you don't intend to give a ****in' **** about the accuracy of the resulting tally

After going over it again, this is what I got too (The numbers part, I didn't do the rest. I commend you for finding all the extra information!) I can at least speak that this is accurate.

recounting the votes are not our own opinion, that was what we counted from everything posted in this thread, it wasn't opinion at all

and the difference aren't 1-2 points only but involved quite a big number too and affect the whole rank too,

maybe you can ask for someone's help to recount from the beginning if you're too lazy to count it on your own... Though, I appreciated you efforts on this project

^ Many cases are 1-2 points... and I know that it affects the whole rank....
Well, I will search for someone to re-count these.... thought that both I and Rinzler counted super-duper carefully.

Idea:
Let's get 3-4 people and each count 2-3 pages...
That's my page, that's his page.... etc.
And this way there re-count will go faster and we should accept those results....

No point in counting Morning Musume members again as they've been counted and verified. It's the others that need recounting. Use a spreadsheet program to plug the numbers in and let it do the counting for you. Much faster and obviously more accurate.

I saw the Morning Musume ranking here was discussed on the 2ch H!P forum which was posted on this blog here: http://www.intlwota....talhead/?p=6556 which was a very interesting read.  I also noticed I forgot to add Eripons 1st place votes so I edited the list to show it.

I know I'm reviving this thread for nothing, but I wanna know if you want this game this winter too.

1) MOAR ACCURATE VOTE COUNTING

Is this going to happen this year too?
If you need any help counting the votes, I volunteer If there are many people counting, you could divide votes by groups, so that someone would count MM, the other Berryz and so on. It doesn't get messed up that easily when there are more people involved this time around it's such a huge job counting all by yourself..
