I'm a GW2 player too. I played to GW1 before.
My main character is a male Human Elementalist called "Matt De Shadow" (after my Elementalist from GW1). I mainly play with him. ^o^ So he's the only one to be lvl. 80 for now.
I have a female Asura Guardian called "Shabondama". She has a blue armor like the cover of Shabondama single.
My female Sylvari Ranger is called "Hitoribotchi Mariko" (from "Naichau Kamo"
) because my favorite line from MM is "Mata hitoribotchi Mariko". 
She uses 4 pets: Tsunku (Fern Wolf), Sayumi (Pink Moa), Reina (Blue Jellyfish) and Haruka (Bear).
As my ranger's armor is pink and purple I mainly use Sayumi as pet.
I also have a Norn Necromancer and a Charr Thief. Their name are not related to H!P.
When I'll have enough gold I'll buy a new slot to make a female Human Warrior whose name will be related to H!P. I already made some tests and it will be nice.
I can't say the name I'm gonna choose to be sure no one takes it. Some weeks ago I know this name was available. ^^I play on "Augury rock" (french server). But maybe we will meet someday as the main servers in big towns are often busy.
