Oh my god, I just did a total impulse buy and placed an order for this. Luckily I had a MasterCard gift card that has almost exactly how much it cost me, so I didn't really spend any money at all. I was thinking of ordering it with the Momusu album but... oh well.

very late news but AKB48 will perform their 27th single for the first time to public on the 14th on ONGAKU NO HI. Please note that this Is the same special program that AKB48 performed Flying Get for the first time to the public.

Not as catchy as Heavy Rotation but it has a certain hook that Flying Get is lacking.

I find the song to be pretty bland.
Ume's smile looks incredibly genuine though, so I'm really proud to have voted fr her.

The song gave me happy feelings and I can't stop smiling... and it forces me to hit replay over and over. A very safe choice if you compare it to NMB's new songs (including choreography) but that shouldn't be surprising to anyone really.

I expect the PV the be as cozy and feelgood as the song.

I agree it's pretty bland. I much prefer both Heavy Rotation and flying Get. But I didn't like Flying Get at first, either... maybe I'll change my mind about this.

To be honest, it sounds like it should be a b-side.

Opening left me going "This again?" but song itself is really nice. I like the outfits, and the dance.

...this is the type of song that I don't like. It's too soft and frilly for my tastes. It really does sound more like a b-side or a Nogizaka song.
I like the Future Girls song more, so far. Mostly, of course, I'm looking forward to the Next Girls song with Wasa-lead. Hoping for something that smacks you in the face in the best possible way.

What's funny when people says it sounds like a Nogizaka song, is that Nogizaka sounds like old AKB stuff to me

the 1st one predate me .. so dunno ..

the 2nd Heavy Rotation is sexy one ..
the 3rd flying get is a heavy serious one to me ..

kind of took me by surprise they did a fresh, simple, light one ...

seem that AKB48 never fail to surprise ... i bet no one expect something like this is coming ..
yes .. seem very Nogizaka46 feel ... but AKB48 just look more cheerful ..

While it certainly looks Nogizaka in outfit and choreography, I don't know if I think it sounds like Nogizaka (and their extremely limited catalogue). I very much do agree that Nogizaka has a very old school AKB feel though, musically.

The song itself has grown on me after a few listenings, it's very easy to listen to, if anything. Nothing that'll make me feel like I must put it on, but not a song I'd switch from if it started playing. Guess that's worth something.
