Minamina has been diagnosed with "symptoms of epidemic keratoconjunctivitis in both eyes " and won't be able to take part in Kobushi's Otodama Sea live tomorrow (07/31) :-/

It's been reported that she is now studying overseas. An educated guess would suggest New Zealand although I think RikoRiko alluded to talking on the phone with her and a time change was involved (I'm a little unsure about this).

^ Yep, Rukou talked with Minami via phone and played the recording during her birthday event.

If I were to quite directly what has been shared on JPLOP:

- "Secret Talk corner" : A replay of her phone call with Nomura Minami. Yamagishi Riko talked about her recent happenings and memories with her. Yamagishi asked Nomura to tell everyone what she's been up to since some everyone wanted to hear her voice. Nomura said she's been studying English. She said she's learning English, but she's not very good at it, but she can speak it better than when she first started. She's talking to friends from overseas, eating out, and having them over to her house to teach her how to cook. Nomura she's been struggling with tests lately, and that there is always something she hasn't studied for before. Her current problem is that she's having a hard time growing in her native listening skills.

Now that C-ute's Saki and CG/MM's Chisaki have appeared on Hello Overseas Studies' channel. I wonder if Minami will make an appearance soon. She has been out of sight for quite sometime. Over 2 years. Unless she is not studying English overseas.

Minami Nomura's exclusive management contract has already ended, but only the contact desk work was continued.

She has received her will to put an end to her entertainment activities this year and pursue her new path, and will be ending her duties today.

Nomura was a founding member of Kobushi Factory in 2015 until March 2020.

Thank you very much for supporting Minami Nomura.
I will continue to support her in her new start,
and I hope that you will continue to watch over her.

These are saddening news, yet not surprising. I've noticed this with various Hello Project ex members. I hope she opens an Instagram and shares with us her English skills although it's likely she won't.
