To get a somewhat idea of the popularity currently of the group, I've put together a ranking based on members weibo account's followers.

Firstly, weibo in China is like the their version of Twitter. A lot of ppl in China use it, and anyone thats a SNH48 wota in China should be using it to follow the girls.

I was thinking of not adding Sae-chan and Mariya in but I wanted to show the gap between the AKB transfers and SNH members (Mariya's account appears to be locked and can only be viewed if you have a weibo account. According to Shanghai48 from Tumblr, the account is probably set to having her approve every single person that follows her b4 they can view her account, which is why she doesnt have much followers, as a AKB member, after being opened on the 27th of November. ).

Also, take note of the Chinese writing of the transfers' names below (Left: Chinese/ Right: Japanese)

Travel visa and work visa are a different thing, and I believe Japanese passport holders can stay in China for 1-2 weeks without visa (been told so by Japanese friends living here). The laws for getting a work visa in China have gotten very tight, it's not enough to have a company willing to hire you, sadly...

If they can get a work visa they will be able to stay no problem. If not they will have to constantly exit and enter China, it will get very tiring for them... Unless of course SNH manages to do something

They are more like SKE than AKB which is a good thing, they seem to enjoy themselves, I would love to see SNH and SKE meet up it would be very funny all the girls on both teams like a laugh. Yu Huiwen and Suda Akari could go fishing together, oh! what a thought.
