I didn't like Yamamoto Sayaka's reactions. She looked pissed when Yamada Nana was called, when Watanabe Miyuki held her speech and when she held her own speech.

The NMB girls and Sayanee included are competitive as crazy. She was pissed because she wanted to be higher in the rankings...

I didn't think Sayanee looked pissed either :S

I think sometimes when girls are 'stone-walling' their faces it can look grumpy. I know mine does ^^"

Damn! I was concentrating too much on it I forgot to eat the food I made. XD

I'm surprised Micha didn't rank with all of the pushing she's been getting recently. :(

Members I'm not sure I like now purely on their attitude this election, Itano, Takajo. You guys, Seriously. :/

Tomochin was much more civil than last year XD
Seems like she took it better this time and realized, it's just about being yourself and doing your best.

Yeah, it's like Tomochin is just accepting the fact that she's number 8 now. She's probably glad that she didn't drop anymore.
But Akicha is definitly mad. It's probably a big shock for her. Mocchi seemed quite upset too. But then you have someone like Amina, who was once in the top 10 and has slowly been falling, and yet she's still smiling and positive. That's Amina for you.
And other members dropped more, like Lovetan and Suuchan. What happened there? I guess we should compare from the votes last year. Kinda surprising, though.
But I'm so happy for many of the girls, especially the ones who have never ranked before. Sakiko, Chiichan, Nakayan, Wasamin, even girls I've never seen before like Team H's Sakura, and SKE KKS BBQ. I'm really excited about the Next Girls!

Oh, and congrats to Yuko! She beat Mayuyu by like 30,000 votes. XD

People on TH are mad saying Mayuyu isn't pleased with her ranking. But I think she honestly thought she would get #3, considering how surprised she looked when Yuki was called and not her. Mayuyu is competitive as heck so of course she wants to aim for #1 next year. :P That doesn't mean she's not happy with #2.

LOL If Mayu's not pleased with #2 Itano would be backstage thrashing the dressing room XD

She had that "I wished you'd die instantly" look on her face when shown. Not very positive imho. But again, this was just my impression ^^;. Also, she was close to the media senbatsu, that's probably why.

I'm surprised Kaoru didn't rank at all... she's had so much promotion!

& yeah Akicha looked PISSED. She was like that one Yankee character she plays!
But if there had to be someone to drop to Undergirls, I would have wanted it to be Akicha.

Sayanee looked fine to me. I was sad for Yamada Nana's and Ogasawara Mayu's rank...I though they would be way higher. Good job for Fukumoto Aina!

Yes, everyone can't get a spot in this election and the most popular and important members are there. By important I mean the ones taht the big crowd cares about. But there are members that I think are more important than many of the girls that got a rank.

Shimada Haruka ( my No. 1 AKB girls) for example.

The word 'important' when it comes to akb is entirely subjective. My most important girl ranked but some of my other important girls didn't rank. I think you should be more careful with your wording lavinya, it's quite disrespectful to imply the other girls don't matter.

Atleast every single member is going to get some sort of promotion after this, even if they haven't ranked at all. :-D

Well...
all in all a very exciting event. Much more exciting compared to last year, the live stream really helped (just wished it wasn't blocked by default here, but that's a different story)

First I'm very happy for all the NMB48 girls ranking, though I had wished Sayanee just a little bit higher (undergirls center or senbatsu :) )

The biggest shocker for me was Team H's Sakura... I didn't saw this coming at all. :D

The most emotional moment for me was that Team S' Yuka staying in the final rankings too. This makes me happy somehow a lot. :)

OK.. time to make some food now. Could eat a bear so hungry I am. :)

I'm so happy ... I really was expecting a position like this for my oshi ... I think next year is definitely the year of Miss Perfection, Mayuyu! She is a very competitive so that people can get upset, but his fans know that this is the mayuyu! GOGO PRINCESS!

I think opening the election up to 64 members really made a difference this year. The votes are spread out all over the place, rather than just conceptrated in senbatsu. Casual fans will usually vote for the top members, but it seems like wota are voting in full force for the members who they want to be pushed. By voting for KKS, or a team H girl, or a regularly unpopular girl, it is telling management that they want to see more of these members. Seeing the extreme surprise on some of the girls faces, girls who didn't expect to rank at all, and even Takamina's reaction when Chiichan and Nakayan ranked so well, is really precious.

Not like she hasn't done that before. I remember that reenactment of a happening from when the group was in it's infantry stage. XD
