Uemura Akari (植村あかり) is a Japanese pop singer signed to Hello! Project as a member of Juice=Juice. She is also a former member of the SATOYAMA Movement unit Sato no Akari. She was first introduced at the 2012 March "Nama Tamago Show!" concert as a member of Hello Pro Kenshuusei.

btw: There's this info on the front page fror the Tamago Show: 植村 あかり(うえむら あかり) 1998年12月30日生まれ　※大阪の研修生 <--- the last thing says "Osaka trainee", so she seems to be from there

Osaka trainee... why does that give me a fimiliar feeling. Could she been in training with Happy!Style ... H!P's distant cousin operating from Kansai region. Osaka is in the Kansai region right. Need to know her background more.

Also, Akari looks like a pro already. Like so many had said, she shows confidence. And she is really pretty.

I don't like her nickname, I'm just not feeling it... >.< "Aarii" doesn't flow for me... >.< I'm trying to think of a nickname I can call her that I like and that won't confuse the hell out of me... LOL (Saho Akari, nickname "Akari" is my oshimen so it's hard to refer to another "Akari" as such without making my mind spin~~ LOL) I think she's pretty though. But just a pic isn't too much to go on. Anyway her nickname doesn't have to be something I love for me to potentially become a fan... I don't like "Daaishi" for Ayumi either, which is why I call her Ayu (with optional emphasis on the "a" and/or "u"... lol)

I was thinking she looked a bit like AKB 13th gen KKS Moe Aigasa but thinking about it, she also somewhat reminds me of Konan from NFS too~ LOL

Honestly what I'm most interested in with this girl is her background... What's with being from Osaka anyway... Is she not a "normal" egg? I mean aren't most eggs from the kanto region at least? It must be tough to commute back and forth for the girls who might live far away. Like, in general.
