"To everyone"

 

Some time ago it was announced on official webpage.

 

I, Ichiki Rena, will graduate from Nogizaka46 after the handshake event of 8th single on 21st of July.

 

I'm truly sorry for this unexpected announcement.

 

And I'm sorry to inform you about my graduation through the blog.

 

Since the moment I became a member of the group and up until now I was combining work with study and this spring I entered university to continue my studies.

 

I have a lot of gratitude that can't be expressed in words for all your support that you were giving me.

 

I put a lot of trouble to group members, staff members and fans, because I have to skip handshake event and Live for the sake of the study.

 

I believe there were people who were displeased with that.

 

Yet there are people, who support me even in these circumstances.

Without your warm, kind and heartening support I wouldn't be here.

 

I could face forward because you were walking along with me.

 

I'm really grateful for that.

Thank you very much.

 

In my heart

"When I become a student certainly there will be a lot of free time I'll do things that I couldn't do when I was high school student, so I'll definitely catch up with everyone"

I vowed to myself.

 

I regret a lot that I have to skip the handshake event and other things, but anyway I made it to enter the university.

I'm deeply grateful to you, to group members and staff members for understanding my goal.

 

However,

the university wasn't easy-going as I thought.

 

It's different from high school period and it's a place that demands specialization and thorough learning.

 

The honour of independence, the presence of compulsory subjects.

It wasn't what I thought at all, so I had a lot of irritation.

 

Nogizaka46 is a group.

 

The feeling that everyone are dragged down because of me became strong.

"You will have your chance!"

I started to hate myself for being troublesome and not being able to answer the expectations of your support.

I really dislike half-baked myself.

 

This is my answer to it, after thinking it over and over and finally making a decision.

 

Nogizaka46 showed me this lovely and shining world of entertainment, that amateurish me had no idea about.

 

The days I spent as Nogizaka46 member are most wonderful and important treasures in my life.

 

I will never forget how you talked to me through blog or mobile messages about my favourite kanji idioms, stars, deep-sea fish, Rinarin senryu poetry, Adorena☆LINK

 

I was embraced with family-like warmth, when you worried about me like about yourself.

 

Thank you so much.

 

At the end,

I'm not giving up my dream.

 

I'll do my best not to lose my stem.

Of course, after having various experience the goal may change again.

For now I'll carefully refine myself more and more.

 

Members, staff members and fans.

I love you.

Thank you so much.

 

There is not much time left, but

I want to make irreplaceable memories with you.

Please treat me well.

I'll try to translate some important blog entries from her Nogizaka blog, when I sort out currently urgent things (and I don't mean to say never, I'd love to read and understand her feelings on different occassions myself and convey it to you.. when I have some more free time and some less pressure). Rena tweeted about a movie "Santa Clause" where she appears.

This movie will be open at movie theaters this Friday.

Just finished watching "Kinsma" tv-show where Ichiki Rena's latin dance contest performance was covered. Really enjoyed watching it. She's beautiful and very talented.
