Kodama Haruka, AKB48 Team A debut stage.
19/06/2013
- Outside the theater, so many people came to watch.
- Ozaki Mitsuru (HKT's manager) is there so he's giving live pictures as well.
- Haruppi's catchphrase has changed! It's now
「博多からスキスキスキスキスキイップ!はるっぴこと兒玉遥です!」
Hakata kara Suki Suki Sukippu! Haruppi koto Kodama Haruka desu! - MC (Haruppi's at the first line, which means dips on units!)
- No changes in units and Haruppi's (first) unit is Skirt Hirari!! (She gets Iwata's position)
They shuffled the units around so that Karen is now performing in Kuroi Tenshi and Haruppi gets her position, which is MaiMai's original position which is the first solo line in the song.
- Second unit is Glass no I Love you (Mayuyu, Tano, Haruppi, Sasaki)
- Kodaku na Runner's intro solo dance is Haruppi!!
- The encore calls [Haruka] resound in the AKB theater.
AKB劇場に響き渡る「はるか」のアンコール
アンコールのはるか(はるっぴ)コールが凄い!! ロビーでこんなにコール聞こえたことないな!
Haruppi's encore call are amazing!! Even in the lobby those calls are heard - Mayuyu announces that JKT's Rena's concurrent position is in Team A as well! Rena appears on stage!!!
- Ponytail to Shushu
Performance is now over! Thanks everyone for tuning in!!
Looks like Iwata Karen took Nito Moeno's position and Haruppi is in Karen's old spot.

Definitely want to watch that

...and
I wouldn't complain if she considered to keep it like this.

Hardworking type of center, but unluckily replaced by younger pushed-member. I believe she could make it well in both Team H and Team A. Let's support this Lisp Center.

Let's just say, she's made crazier faces.

To tell you the truth,
if I had become Janken center,
I would’ve have wanted to cut my bangs(゜-^*)/
It’s something I thought of。
However, since I lost,
of course I have to go with my forehead!!
This is just a change in my hair arrangementー✌
I was honestly a little disappointed about Haruppi not placing higher/winning the Janken!
I wouldn't have wanted her to change her hairstyle though! I love the way it is now. Haha.
However, if she had won I would have dealt with the hair change, because I would love to see her as a center.

Definitely looks good as it is and we don't need more girls with bangs. Not enough girls that show their foreheads properly (rather rare actually ) Haruppi looks especially cute when she has her hair a bit asymmetric with one side behind the ear. Just saying!
/edit
Sorry for the lack of better pictures, some screenshots from latest Tonkotsu Maho Shoujo Gakuin episode to demonstrate what I mean.

She is the only person that I have seen that can truly pull of the forehead hair! I had never seen her with her hair behind her ear (thanks for providing the picture!). It's crazy how much older it makes her look.
Also today(well, yesterday in Japan) is her birthday! Happy birthday Haruppi!

I really do like her hairstyle. Her short hair suits her, but then again I am so used to her style I don't really know how she would look with any other type, long or short

Something like this, I guess:

Perhaps gives an idea?

She looks quite lovely without the part, while still showing plenty of forehead, maybe even more mature, which I suppose she'll have time to show in the future.

But I like that she shows her forehead even though I'm honestly not a big fan of the way her hair tapers longer in the front, so I really like when she pulls it back or gets inventive with it.

Though, I think she could go with any hairstyle and it'd be fine.

How does it work when a member has a double position? I mean, how is her time divided between AKB48's team A and HKT48's team H?
It is an old conversation now, but I also like her hairstyle. No fringe is somehow rarer!

Some days they perform in one stage of one group, then other days they perform in another stage of another group.
For example, Haruppi some days performs with Team A members, then other days she performs with HKT48.
Some times it takes weeks without a member performing in one stage, you can even watch them complaining about it in G+.
They appear as members for both groups for the respective singles, they appear in their music videos.

Videogame designer (ex-Capcom, now Platinum Games) Hideki Kamiya who has worked in games like Resident Evil 1&2, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, etc. appears to have revealed, after a fan asked him to vote for Murashige, that he would rather vote for Kodama Haruka instead:

Mission accomplished!!!!!!!
Haruppi's posted about the message book.
I received this book the other day. It's a collection of birthday messages from foreign fans, in both English and Japanese translation.
It made me feel all warm inside. I didn't expect there to be any fans of me in places that far away.
Fans from the US, Brasil, Chile, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Australia, Hungary, Dubai, Singapore and the Phillipines, thank you for your messages. I've read them all.
And thanks to everyone else as well. I'm reading about five letters every day before going to bed. It's a real encouragement. It's the energy that helps me push forward.
