Kanbe Miyuki - was the third actress to play Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in the Sailor Moon musicals. She first performed in 2000's Last Dracul, and her last show was Chou Wakusei Death Vulcan no Fuuin in 2001. Miyuki also made appearances as a guest for the 2001 Fan Kansha event and the 2002 10th Anniversary Talk Show.
Miyuki was the third longest-running Sailor Moon.
Since performing in the musicals, Miyuki released various idol DVDs and performed two opening songs for the anime Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. She also had a regular role in the tokusatsu production Kamen Rider Hibiki. She was set to play Eponine in the 2007 Japanese production of Les Misérables, a role previously held by another former Sailor Moon, Anza Ooyama, but became ill and had to leave the production. Her health continued to deteriorate, and Miyuki died of heart failure on June 18, 2008 at the age of 24.
Kuroki Marina - was the fourth actress to play Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon in the Sailor Moon musicals. Her first musical was the 2001 Tanjou! Ankoku no Princess Black Lady, when she was only 12, and her final show was Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu (Kaiteiban) - Marinamoon Final in 2005, when she was 16 years old.
Marina was the second longest running Sailor Moon, the fourteenth longest running performer in Sera Myu history, and the youngest ever to play Sailor Moon.
Marina has released several idol DVDs and appeared on a few Japanese TV programs, as well as doing several stage shows. After graduating from her role in the Myu, she proceeded to perform the openings for the anime series Onegai My Melody ~Kuru Kuru Shuffle!~ and Onegai My Melody Sukkiri♪.
Sawai Miyuu - is an actress and idol who played Usagi Tsukino/Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity/Princess Sailor Moon/"Sailor Rabbit" and Queen Serenity in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
A former model in the junior fashion magazine LOVE BERRY (with Chieco Kawabe), she debuted in the teen TV drama Kids War before PGSM, and has since released several idol DVDs, appeared as the main character of Chain - Rensa Jusatsu, and had a cameo in Booth. She also voiced Noah in Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shambala, and had a small role in Black Cat.
More recently, she played the main supporting role in a children's stage drama during the summers of 2006 and 2007, in which Moeco Matsushita had the starring role. She also starred in a prime-time historical drama in the summer of 2007.
Azama Mew - is an actress who played Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
She is a former member of the child idol singing group B.B.WAVES (using the stage name "Mimi"), and has undergone some formal artist training, which possibly makes her the most experienced among the actresses playing the Sailor Senshi. Born in the Hiroshima Prefecture, she also grew up as an Okinawan.
While majoring in career design (lifelong learning and career studies) at Hosei University in Tokyo, from which she graduated in 2009, she was a popular model in the SEVENTEEN teen fashion magazine (not to be confused with the English-language magazine of the same name), which also featured Keiko Kitagawa as its top model (both graduated in the latter half of 2006), and was acting in a teen TV drama. After winning the "2006 non-no Model Grand Prix", she started to appear in the same year's December issue of non-no, a popular mainstream young women's fashion magazine, as its exclusive model, making her currently the only Senshi actress to step up in her modelling career. After working for one year at non-no, she moved to another mainstream fashion magazine, CanCam.
In 2007, she became the image girl of JTA, a subsidiary carrier of the national airline JAL, on its 40th Anniversary.
Komatsu Ayaka - is an actress who played Minako Aino/Sailor Venus/Sailor V/Princess Sailor Venus in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
The eldest among the Senshi actresses, she also played Sailor Venus, the Senshi's leader. Before her PGSM work, she had little exposure in the entertainment world. However, her career took off simultaneously with PGSM, and now she has become a fairly famous idol-artist on TV, movies, and stage dramas, with numerous magazine appearances and idol products of the sexy swimsuit genre.
Together with Alisa Yuriko Durbrow, she was also the star model of the now nonexistent CANDy teen fashion magazine. Also, She performed a song called "Cross My Heart" on her idol DVD Moon Doll. The song's lyrics are all in English, and she sang with excellent pronunciation.
Anymore girls from anything Sailor Moon who are now idols? Name a few please!

Komatsu Ayaka was my favorite PGSM actress, probably since she played my favorite character, Sailor Venus. I'm not sure which girls from this show are considered an "idol", since many of those girls are actresses, and now adults. I know what happened to Kitagawa Keiko (Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift) and Koike Rina (now a model). But I guess I can't really contribute to this thread other than saying those things.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the name of this heavy metal group she's in? In addition to listening to all the lovely idols listed in my signature, I'm also a metalhead!
Is there a YouTube video of her group?

My favorite Mars (favorite soldier) ever is Keiko from PGSM. But in the musicals, Kotani Misako and Kanda Eri captured her the best. Megumi was good, too.
Sailor Moon is the best story ever, and were my first exposure to idols as well. Now it's been over 10 years since I saw it the first time and while I don't watch it as much these days as I used to, I can without doubt say that I will always love all that has to do with it.

Isn't PGSM the drama? While just good old sailor moon was the anime (or sometimes Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon... which translates to PGSM....) I think we're talking abuot the drama here. And the stage plays too, right?I'm a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon fan, and I approve of this thread! However, shouldn't it be in the anime section? Maybe not.
It's good to know Venus's actor became an idol because the character Venus wanted to be an idol. I was really saddened Kanbe Miyuki though. To die so young is just heart breaking.

Anza was in the Morning Musume style idol group, Sakurakko Club, she also released a photobook (called "Anza Style") and she released a couple single solos including a theme for an anime. Very much an idol lifestyle, and this was prior too and during Sera Myu.
Sugimoto Aya was a popular idol in the 80's releasing a number of singles and albums, although she was always better known for good looks and sultry personality. She was made herself a household name by staring in a few movies too, some with... questionable... love scenes. In 2003, she stared in the TV drama Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon as Queen Beryl.
