QUESTION: Am I the only one who gets lesbian vibes from Maimi in this episode? It might just be me but they are strong vibes. She's not really interested in the guy and she pops up at the end for Sayu's batsu-game.

I wasn't sure it is was my superlesbian wishful hoping.

^ Because AKBingo airs right before Suugaku Joshi Gakuen, and AKBingo has higher ratings, so people were hoping it would boost Suugaku Joshi Gakuen's ratings~

Maimi had mentioned that different zones air the show at different times.

Another think that just pop in my head. Could this be the reason that Sayu asked the viewers to watch the drama real time instead of recording it.
If it is, then the rating is not an accurate indicator. There could be more people recording the show but the rating would not show it.
Ppl like Reina would record a show becoz they are not at home when the show airs. Some ppl might decide to go to bed after AKBingo because it is already late but they record the show. Just a few possible scenarios to think about

I'm not sure if AKBingo's airing is split like Suugaku's, I think they're strictly Nippon Terebi, though.. I assume it's just the channel, Nippon Terebi's ratings. They seem to reach a lot of places, but Suugaku has three different airings... hmm..

AKBingo being in the slot directly before this drama will not help with Suugaku's rating. AKB fans just shuts off their TV/change channel after AKBingo is over. Especially when it's 1AM. Don't get your hopes up.

Just got back from the NTV store in Tokyo station. Most of the pictures for 9/10th gen were sold out. A large chunk of berryz and smilage were out too. The store also has 2 more pictures of each girls then what is posted on the web store. glad I checked it out during my delay. Hope I can get on a flight tomorrow. I'll try to scan them and post it on the picboard when I get back.

Just checked the web store and they do have the extra 2 set but you have to click on the girls. Seems like stock problems for smilage and 9/10 gen. The web store is out also. I guess I'll have wait and order them when I order my downtown action figures.

How about if ppl records instead of viewing real time, does it effect rating? Sayu seems concerned about that. I liked how Reina reacted to Sayu's insistance that ppl watch real time. It was really cute Reina

@Zam Yeah. Compared to the 500yen per picture at the winter con, I went to town on them today. Had some yen left I rather spent now then to exchange back. I guess staying 3 extra days was worth it.

@zam, recording probably adds to the rating as well, since data will be pushed through to the PVR boxes from the TV stations.

From what I know about the UK rating system only people with a rating black box count in the rating and this system is used around the world.

BUT, if you do have the black box then you DVR recording does count if you watch the show within the first week of airing.
But usually they don't count these view in the ratings they release to the pubic.

Anywho does anyone have the actual number of the rating out of interst?
