Actually, Mitsumune Kaoru has never settled with one hair color for too long. Even throughout her short career in AKB48, her hair has changed to different shades of brown. One of my buddies want see Kaoru follow suit with ex-Morning Musume, Takahashi Ai's dirty blonde.....IDK how I'd feel about that haha

AKB48’s Mitsumune Kaoru to be absent from handshake event

It’s been reported that AKB48 member Mitsumune Kaoru will be absent from the group’s handshake events on October 13 and the 14th.
According to AKB48’s blog, the reason for her absence is due to poor health. The management stated, “We will consider the future course of action and inform you later.”
Due to her poor health, Mitsumune was also absent from AKB48’s Tokyo Dome concerts in August and the premiere event for ‘Gekijouban Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou‘ on the 8th.

Hoping for a speedy recovery and that they don't decide to force her out or anything. She's really cute, I don't want to see her have to graduate!

I wonder what the hell happened with her. She's usually spunky, healthy and energetic, but throughout this month and last month she's been either stuck in the hospital due to an illness or at bed due to poor health.

Hoping that she recovers to full health soon, as she's really missed a lot of events and it'll be pretty hard for her to get back in the swing of things in AKB if she's out for too long.

Just after China she had been to hospital and she wrote about becoming acquainted with a cestodes ​(tapeworm), which we all know comes from eating raw or undercooked meat. If she has or had tapeworms she will be very ill and as it is the eggs that are ingested maybe not all of them have hatched yet so eradication will be an ongoing process.

And that's why I don't trust food in Asia even despite being Asian myself. That's absolutely terrible. I always cook or boil any meat I end up eating to take down any parasites or bacteria, and never eat food from food stands no matter how many people praise the flavor of the food itself.

I've always noticed on programs even the outdoors survival camp where food is she always has a healthy appetite a tapeworm explains a lot about her very low weight and appearing as though she has anorexia.

That would mean that she's had that for a while now. That's terrible.

I wonder if it's possible that she got food poisoning in China which led to the additional discovery of tapeworms. I've also heard of diets where tapeworms are intentionally swallowed to lose weight, or maintain a figure. Maybe she attempted a diet like that for her modeling career and then feigned innocence when they were discovered blaming them on the recent trip. That being said, tapeworms can be deadly as the eggs of the adult get absorbed into the bloodstream and can be transported all over the body. Fatalities can occur when the eggs lodge and hatch in vital organs, especially the brain. Since Kaoru has been out so long, I wonder how severe her infestation was.

Regardless, I wish her a full and speedy recovery.

久しぶりの更新になってしまいました。

まず昨日は昇格された先輩＋研究生での僕の太陽公演でした！感想はモバメに書いたので、寧ろどうでしたか？？

と、明日の有吉AKB共和国さんに引き続き出演させていただいています。
これは明日また報告するけど是非観てね。

何だか両方の鼻から鼻血が止まらんよ～(´ｰ`)

Maybe she got sick b4 the trip, or maybe she got sick kuz of trip. idk....
I dont know what to think...
Everyone is getting seriously worried about her...

Well, she clearly states on the 19th of August that her nosebleed wasn't stopping at all, so that leads me to believe that she's already been sick before heading out to China. The problem is, what was she sick with before this whole tapeworm thing? If it's something serious, then coupled with the tapeworms, she's one terribly unlucky girl.

If you mean this post, then theres a misunderstanding:

Kaoru went to the Meguro Parasitological Museum. The Museum is about Parasites, like tapeworms, which she mentions in the post (Kaoru has an interest in such things ). She doesnt have a tapeworm in her body, but she got wrapped in one.

I dunno what's going on but I really really really hope she will get better soon... =( She was probably gonna get a push since she was just promoted... I would hate for it to end so soon, so I hope she will get better... (lol as if she wasn't getting a push already though. ) Still it was just the beginning and I wanna see her get better. Maybe part of why she was promoted at that specific time could be because management WANTS to keep her, and doesn't want to have to drop her at a future KKS selection due to absence... I dunno, I'm probably just overthinking. lol But um Amemiya Maika, I think... She was dropped and I thought it might have been at least in part due to the fact she had be absent from injury. I dunno. But at least I think Kaoru will have the safety net of being a full member so at least KKS selections won't touch her. lol But... Aside from that, there's no guarantee she'll get 100% better too soon... I just hope she will. It's been a while anyway, and the other next-gen girls are getting a huge push... Paruru, AnRiRe, and others... Just thinking how much is going on during her absence... It makes me hope even more that she can come back soon. I don't want Ryoka and Tomu to pull too far ahead... >w< And the other girls who just joined teams... Marinchan, etc. I guess right now they are gonna do those temporary setlists but I really want Kaoru to be better by the time they start K7...

The management are going to close Mitsumune Kaoru's account on the 25th of this month as soon as it hits midnight. No reasons have been stated as to why this is happening, but it sounds like it's because Kaoru's still ill and has no signs of being able to recover soon, which on most cases would serve as grounds for graduation.

Still, she was finally able to get promoted as a full member, and now she's out of a job. I hope they allow her to get back to Team K when she actually does recover.

Hmm yeah, it is sad...

Somehow I doubt she will come back to AKB... Simply because it seems as though she asked to leave since she'd been out for so long...

And if she was gonna rejoin them, she wouldn't have done that...

Obviously AKB management would have liked to keep her, since they just promoted her, but I think she probably made the hard and right decision for her own life and future. If you push yourself too hard, especially if your health is not good, you will regret it.

The same thing happened on a lesser degree with Umeda Ayaka. If she's been out for a year and a half and could get right back into it with all the new songs and dances then I'm sure Mitsumune can do it too.

Still, the fact that they're completely deleting her account and posts this quickly upset her fans and they're complaining about it on Google+ right now.

I really don't see her coming back to AKB since she already said she's graduating.

I think the fans are posting on her profile because they'll miss her... She released a statement already that she's leaving.

Umechan didn't do that. That's what makes the situation different. I guess... Those two have different priorities.

In Umechan's case, it paid off. She got into senbatsu again for Gingham Check, and she'll be the new captain of Team B. (Even before that, she was undergirls center last year as well.)

But who knows if it would have paid off for Kaoru. She had a lot of antis, and despite her push, she didn't rank in the election. Of course there was a long way ahead... But I think she was really more worried about other people than herself, a little too much so, perhaps.

Didn't Umechan break her leg or something? (I forget what it was, I thought she broke a bone or something...) That kind of thing, isn't there usually a set time that it takes to heal and recuperate from? At least on average. But I feel like some injuries or sicknesses are less predictable. I dunno, maybe Kaoru is in a situation where she has no idea when she will get better and just wants others to not have to worry so much over her.

And I also think... This timing, it's better this way... Because at least she's not really leaving in the "middle" of anything. By leaving before the reformation, she's not leaving anything hanging.

And if she's able to come to terms with this decision, I'll support it.

Umeda had a fractured tilbia (shin bone) on one of her legs that prevented her from dancing, much less walking. For quite a while she was in a cast and had to walk by using crutches. Her popularity took a big dive after the lack of appearances, but she tried to do as much as she could without further injuring her leg to remind the fans that she's still 'here' and showed up from time to time. She herself was quite depressed about the whole ordeal and shut herself off completely at one point, but her friends in AKB, her loyal fans and her family brought her back out with more even more motivation than she ever had. Once she fully recovered, she tried her hardest and caught up to the stuff she missed and even recently managed to reach senbatsu for this year's elections.

Mitsumune's condition is a lot worse, but once she recovers to full health, I'm pretty sure she can do the same thing Umeda did as long as she has the support of her fans, friends and family too.
