^so nostalgic... since i saw her moment becaming a sole winner of the audition    

surpassed the struggle with her spirit n hardwork to reach the top... even can still fly higher ... i really proud to be her watcher

The Haru scan is so cutee.

I have honestly stopped caring per se about how popular she is, but I'm generally confused by how much she sells or doesn't. If the figures are right she sold only better than 3 other members in the Spring tour <\3 (ranking in Maa-chans thread), but then her PB sells more than most of the top members in that ranking (more than Ayumi and equal to Maria/Uemura?) and she tends to be 2nd more mentioned in twitter as far as I know from similar rankings. As a whole I think she is in the middle but welp.

Her voice and visual attracts a lot of attention on platforms where those qualities have an appeal beyond wota to more casual fans that may focus on music or looks.  Admittedly, her voice has kept her in my top 3 from pretty much the moment she joined, but that doesn't always translate to merch sales.  With the PBs, at this point I just have to resign myself to accepting that she's exceptionally attractive and the covers probably sell as many of the books to certain people as the accompanying promotion.

for me... that low goodies sales dont mean too much, because thats a lot of factor to describe it...
remember how one karin's ojisan vvota can buy anything sell, fukumura vvota too..
sakura very popular more to casual fans especially women.. it maybe one of a factor to answer the question...
her PBs sold above 1k total total,
her event always soldout.. the recent one even 60% filled with young woman...
we can take something from those facts too..
her last blog that MM twitted got 2,3k likes within 24hrs n her shounen champion shots n offshot get so many matome discussion on 2ch

i tend to say she is popular, but not like a mainstream idol popularity

I agree every pov of you guys.  Actually I've already disregarded the debates of her popularity long ago.  The only fact I can see is that she is now one of the centers, if not THE center, of the group and released two PBs in a relative short period of time.  She also got the most solo events if I'm not mistaken.  H!P and UFA are not the best management I ever seen but they are not that stupid, too.  They won't risk to push a girl like that if she is not popular, period.
