Yoko-chan has mentioned several times including during the recent episode of Morning Jogakuin and during an MC on the current Hello!Project Winter Tour that Sakura is her favourite She said on Morning Jogakuin that the reason she likes Sakura is because she thinks her voice is cute

Considering how much Sakura appreciates her fans and those who look up to her (just look at how much she acts like a big sister towards Akane) I'm not surprised that she's pretty much taken Yoko-chan under her wing

Thanks Angie for reminding of why I have that impression. Sakura is one of the most, if not THE most "lovey-dovey" members, so I'm pretty sure she relishes having a cute girl who not only is glad to receive her affection, but is willing to give back. I think that's what she had with Eripon for a while; perhaps she's happy to be in a similar situation again, thought now she's the senior.

Now, when can we expect the first displays of jealousy from Daishi and Machan?

I'm having trouble finding where I read about the Harocon MC (it definitely happened but I'm not always good at remembering where I've read things), but regarding what she said on Morning Jogakuin I'll quote yopychan's post regarding from Yoko-chan's thread:
