She looks like an Ai-chan x Hagiwara mix there. I thought a wrong pic was posted since I couldn't find her in the first few seconds either haha.

Okay, I feel the need to speak up.

I don't like this new haircut at all.

One of my favorite things about Sakura is that she didn't trim her bangs like everyone else. She has a very beautiful face and it was nice that it wasn't obscured by "helmet" hairstyles. She looked so awkward during her early days in H!P, the bangs didn't really suit her at all. Plus not having bangs helped her stand out against the rest of the group (like seriously, why do most idols have to have the same/similar fringe?).

And honestly I loved many of her hairstyles over the past 3 years; she had way more hits than misses (if there were any major misses at all). I especially loved the partial cornrows stylings she's had!




Also, with the overall length of her hair getting a bit longer this year I thought she looked really cute with a ponytail and was looking forward to more of this:


So yeah, I'm saddened by this "new" hairstyle and hope it's very temporary, that she'll regrow the bangs again soon. (or at the very least she'll put more effort into styling and avoiding the "helmet" look...that most recent TV appearance isn't very flattering)

Personally I do prefer her old style, but I do want to see more of this before I make any judgements, and either way, I think she will still look beautiful

In Japan not many people feel confident in showing their forehead, and to be able to try those two hair styles anytime and still look beautiful is rare, so I think Sakura did the right thing in changing her hair style, it's refreshing to see a new look. However in singles covers and photo-shoots maybe she will return to her old look (forehead ), depending on manager's and artist/photographer's suggestions.

agree, i hv said it too long time ago...she really has a refreshing look by changing her style often

btw sakura with bangs look much younger n cuter..
but sakura without bangs look so mature n beautiful..
