Iikubo will be leading the Hello! Anison Club (ハロー!アニソン部) on YouTube. Formed by the gathering of anime fans in Hello! Project (and Iikubo), the channel is for anime lovers by anime lovers. The members will talk about anime and sing anisongs. The official start is June 11, 2020.

Iikubo is appearing in a new work titled "OWLMAN" (オウルマン), alongside Kodama Haruka (兒玉遥; HKT48) and Oka Nobuaki (岡延明). It'll be a mix of video and novel for the e-Story app "peep". Releasing 7/22.

Yup, which is why I am glad she has graduated. Her talents have always been underutilized during her time. Although I would have loved her to stay around to lead MM, but considering Mizuki is going to be the next Ai-chan/Sayumi in terms of tenure, there is no way Harunan is going to lead the group.

She seemed slightly panicked when she was chosen as co-leader as well though when Reina left... soo I don't think she intended to go for leader position as it is. 

I do feel like Mizuki will stay until she literally gets booted out haha.

 

Anyway I'm happy that Harunan seems to do what she wants to do, acting/modelling and her otaku stuff now and then.
