I really hope the girls themselves don't fret over row placement the way fans on here do. Honestly seems a bit silly to me...

 

Those are some wild costumes. I like the variety of styles - less subtle than some of the previous outfits.

 

I think Maa-chan's the only one in that pic who looks worse than average for her. Everyone else looks pretty good.

I am honestly convinced that Maachan is actually an alien from outer space, who came to Earth to study and learn the ways of the Japanese Idol industry so she can bring that knowledge and experience to improve her home planet's music. 

 

An alien planet where its national pass-time is the "no pants game" and where there is no nudity taboo.

Does Maa-chan sometimes forget to turn on her microphone?

I don't think the girls have control of that. (so there's no case of girls forget to turn the mic on or off) I'd say the mic is already on when handed to the girls and it's the responsibility of the audio operator to control the input and manage the frequencies, which to stream to the system and things like that. When the girls are done, the mics are collected by a staff backstage who will turn them off, or prepare it for the next user.

I asked because on 1 or 2 (or more) occasions she'd deliver a solo line and you can barely hear her.

That's not her fault. It's all about sound technicians on concerts and so. Mizupon had mic problems too.

It's possible that she simply didn't deliver her line well. Though it's also possible that the sound guy messed up with the mixer    Anyway though, if the mic is off, you wouldn't hear her at all. (unless you're really close to her)

Seeing a recent MaaDuu picture always improves my outlook by 35%.

 

I've noticed Masaki's mic being too low in some concerts, too - as well as Fuku-chan's. It must be very frustrating for them. You don't want to strain your voice by being louder, but you want to be heard. Riho's is quiet sometimes when she is thanking the audience at the show's end, but I put that down to her whisper-voice.

Speaking of microphones, I just watched an old arm-wrestling match with Eripon vs. Ai. Ikuta was so pumped up, she threw down MC Gaki-san's mic and broke it! Eripon is strong style!!!
