You can vote for AKB48 / SKE48 / NMB48 / SDN48 songs only, no unit songs.
Voting starts from October 25th-November 30th
The serial number to vote comes with the 23rd single which is being released on the 26th October.

I think this is a great idea for management to do it this way. It give a better chance of more SKE/NMB/SDN48 songs of appearing in the countdown and definitely more stage songs.

Anyways, I really hope that Kinjirareta Futari gets performed and, if I had to choose for any single songs, I'd like if the older ones get performed over the newer ones. ^.^

I wish that Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru would be performed, but apparently it's not too popular with Japanese fans (or so I've read). But Sakura no Hanabiratachi should be there, and hopefully Skirt Hirari. (I like their old singles. )

These are old songs, so I realize it's probably an impossibly small chance for them to resurface with so many new fans, but if they do... I'm gonna scream

Sometimes people do it differently, maybe vote for their favorite songs, or songs that have oshimen in - with more songs question is do you vote for all or one specific?
In that case it can be wise looking into what song is the most popular of those, or check if your oshimen leaves some hints like "Please vote for ...." like Sasshii did last year.
They may express wishes like this during HS events or blogs etc.
If of course I was a billionaire I'd vote for oshimen songs, and my favorite songs. But yeah I'm not a billionaire so I'll have to limit myself ....

But this year I probably vote for something in Team N direction. Though I'm not sure how stage songs are handled there since those songs were sung by some other teams (Team A or K) previously (so I don't know who would perform the song in the end — yes, I'm aware that contradicts my above statement: which team performs should be irrelevant, if I just vote for the song, right? ).
So I probably have to limit myself to the "NMB48" stage song or single songs which makes choosing a bit easier.
/end of rather random thoughts

Shiichans first unit is saboten to gold rush and I do actually really like the song but I also want to vote for some other songs like Mr Kissman, Keibestu(yes I love A4), Dareka ni Aisaretai, I'm Crying, Mori e Ikou...
There's so many when I start thinking about favourite songs so voting for shiichan's unit kinda makes the decision easier for me.

That they are excluding all sub groups from the 4 AX days and giving them their own 5th day...
Is "5th day for units" your speculation or have I missed some important news?
Assuming that by 5th day you meant separate event.

This is actually a pretty good idea, as it means you won't have to sit and watch no3b and WH hog all the spots in one or two days, and instead there's a possibility for more stage songs. And these unit songs don't disappear either, we get an extra concert day with them added.

One vote went to "Dakishime cha ikenai" and another to "Saigo no seifuku" (one one my old favourites and, at the same time, an awesome song that has made it only once in the top-100; hopefully it will show up again this year ).
This time, however, after voting, "An error occured" each time I offered to fill in the questionnaire.

Hope with the revival concerts that older songs make it back.
