These two sisters sing and play shamisen, mainly classics and oldies. I haven't know about them for very long so i wouldn't know if they have any commercial releases. One of their songs accompanying videoed photos of them at a senior's center does sound studio produced.

So far most of what I've seen about them is that they perform regularly at Hanayashiki Amusement Park, Asakusa, Tokyo. I know this might be somewhat off the "mainstream" Idol path, but to me they're idols; so Mods-I won't fuss if you strike this post. But if anyone else can get something out of this I think it's worth putting up.

Oh, so that's what they call themselves! I saw a couple videos of them on YouTube about two weeks ago, but there was no mention of a name in the description. A poster in the background of one video had the name, but it was impossible for me to read (it was blurry and partially obscured). Thank you for starting this topic.

I've made a playlist to make it easier for everyone to see the videos. I'll add more later, but this should be a good start. Here's the first video from the playlist, which shows their skill with the shamisen very well. Trust me, one part is quite awesome.

Okay, I'm impressed. Instead of kids in skimpy costumes simply singing dance songs, these girls are appropriately dressed and sing and play an instrument! Some songs sound like traditional Japanese music, but others are more pop-sounding. Certainly a change of pace, and a good one!
