Her English Lessons are what brought me to H!P (same for 90% of H!P's foreign fandom, it seems), they were brilliance. She was also the first Japanese person I ever heard speaking fluent English

She was certainly the one who got me into hello! project. She always remained my favourite.

I actually never liked her at first, I'm ashamed to admit. .___.

She always struck me as, well, boring. Her English lessons were great, but in CocoMusu she always just kind of sat off to the side translating for the other girls. And she isn't exceptionally cute or gorgeous, she's very "girl-next-door".

It's wasn't until I started listening to the Kiss The Coconuts radio program that I took any notice of her. And then when I saw her in groups like Sexy 8 and ROMANS I felt stupid for never noticing her before. And her 2008 performance of Dance&Chance, damn.

Now she's one of my favorites.

Ayaka introduced H!P to me. I still occasionally re-watch some of the English lessons. I wish that she had done more, or that even though she's not in H!P, she would still do English lessons for them as part of her acting career. I want to see more of her.

I am so pleased that I found this forum/thread. I am a BIG FAN of Ayaka . What I like about her are her beauty and sexiness, as well as her singing and dancing abilities. What makes her special to me is her English language abilities. She is the only H!P idol I could imagine spending time with and being friendly with, for the simple fact that, because I don't speak Japanese, I couldn't communicate with any of the others. (Yes, I know some of the others speak English 'to some extent,' but none of them has even near the fluency of Ayaka.)

Anyway, I have been kind of sad that she has stepped out of the limelight, and hasn't released any music or had any acting roles since she graduated. (Correct me if I'm wrong!) Be that as it may, I hope she is healthy and happy, and has a rewarding family life.

Btw, I was looking at her blog. It is in Japanese, but a nice feather is that she has the posts classified by type ("My Home," "Maternity Life," etc.) in English along the left hand side of the page.

Let's keep supporting Ayaka!

In closing, I suggest that somebody change the description on this forum/thread from "expecting" or whatever it says to "mother of one," or something to that effect.

I love Ayaka! (I love CocoMusu in general) She was my link from regular jpop to idols (I always thought she looked like Nami Tamaki ). She didn't introduce me to H!P, but when I found her I was blown away.
