I went to sleep before I saw the announcement, and by the time I woke up, she had already exceeded her goal by nearly 5x the amount. This has been a pet project of hers for a while, so I'm glad she was able to get her funding so quickly and I look forward to seeing what she can do.

One person paid the entire amount, themselves. Today the total is over 10 million yen. ($100,000 usd ) which is enough to fund additional solo

projects.

I’m so happy to see Meimi getting all these big musicals and working on her solo musical project... I hope she’ll release more solo music soon tho. I miss her music the most, because it’s the only thing she does that I have access to. lol

I am so confused right now. Did they debut with no single? Is there no promotional video? Where can I buy the single? Is it streaming only? I thought I read a tweet about accessibility for Foreign fans, but when I search I find nothing (was it just an advert in NYC?).

 

Can anyone tell me how I can buy their stuff? Do they have an online store? Are they selling it on amazon japan... what is up with this group? I am frothing with demand.... these were two of my favorite smilage members and they are doing artsy gravure... I'm all the way in!

The foreign advert was actually a joke about the producer (the duo being self-produced) spending so much money for international advertising and then posting a shopped old image from NY.

 

So far the only goods I've seen were an upcoming calendar, with future releases depending on fan demand. It could be a while before anything significant happens if both have their own previous contractual obligations. Photo goods and advertising spots might be the most they can really get away with for now as an indie unit until other obligations are met. Their overall goal is still to have a live performance at budokan though, so something would have to happen eventually for them to work towards that dream.

One of Meimi’s costars in a previous event tested positive, and due to the close contact with an infected person she has to quarantine. Her initial result was negative, but she’s a danger to public health until the incubation period has passed and she’s still negative.

Unless there is a more recent update with a positive test result?!
