Oh, I thought it was an album.

 

But I am glad that in the article they are both mentioning her Hello Project history and referring to her as an utahime (unequivocal truth, lol). I am certainly interested in knowing how her singing sounds two years after her graduation. I've heard some, but I'm keeping my eyes on her.

Wow - I completely fell asleep on this one.  NEW SINGLE??!!  WOW.  Such exciting news.

I sampled the two tracks and honestly the music itself did nothing for me but of course Meimi sounds wonderful.

 

I'm sure hearing the FULL song will help, plus an accompanying music video 

 

Does anyone know what the "surprise" announcement was at the start of that video above??  Was it the announcement of the single or the release date or....?

Releasedate for the single is the 26th September, prerelease(I think mv, digital single, radio) is the 22nd August.

 

Do you mean the video from her live at 0:27? That surprise announcement was for her major solo debut as singer. They didn't tell her beforehand, she will be debuting as singer.

The songs we get to preview sound SO AMAZING!!! Her voice is so beautiful and I missed it so much (even though we got to hear a lot of it over the past 2 years....and I still listen to S/m and Anju songs with her in them all the time).

My Dream Goes On reminds me of a 'Do me a favor' song!! LOVE that style and her vocals sound so pretty!
Summertime is AMAZINGLY cute!!! She sounds so lovely!!!

Ahhh I'm gushing....can't wait to buy this single and support her!!!!!!

Oh, I was really surprised. I thought she improved drastically in just 2 - 3 years after leaving H!P.

Let me say this out loud. Right when she debuted, I knew that she had the potential to be the main vocal in S/m. I knew her voice back then sounded high-pitched and childish. However, H!P made her sound more maturely by straining her voice in a way that I really disliked. At least when she debuted as S/m / Angerme member, her voice didn't crack in the middle of the lines. I thought H!P's method of training her voice was similar to the one they used to train Riho, which didn't seem to be right.

And then right after she left H!P, the first song she sang sounded so different that I barely believed it was her who sang it, beautiful and smooth, no straining, no weird adult-like voice. I have to congratulate her on the decision to quit H!P to follow this road.

Wow, think she is really smart to graduate from H!P at 18 and to try it on her own. Seems like it has paid off. As much as she will be one of the main vocalists in Angerme has she remained, but it will never be the same as being a solo artist.
