MeiMei was a guest on Takechan's radio show, promoting her album. Takechan also did some DJ'ing.

I was running a bit behind and my Japanese isn't nearly good enough to risk trying to watch in 2x speed, so I missed the last ~15-25 minutes before the credits. I pretty much made it to the reveal and climax though, so I have a good idea of where it was going. The whole franchise is quite good, and I'm glad that Meimi got to continue her involvement

Meimi covers Goodbye, My Love by Ann Lewis. Also featuring very interesting mini-album promotion placement

She also started an insta account finally, Kanon linked to it in a post and her story last night or so.
Also - I wonder if she’ll release a cover album at some point? I’d love that.

I  can't help but wonder how a musical focused on racial tensions works in a country like Japan. How do they cast that?

Crystal Kay has both black and korean heritage, so her casting would be well-suited towards commentary in a japanese production of that era. Some of the other casting choices I've seen could be questionable depending on how it is handled, but in many ways that's part of the kind of conversations that Hairspray is supposed to invoke. Since Yamaguchi Yuichiro is listed as the actor playing Edna, it seems like they're making an effort to lean into the intended themes.

She will be starring in the Shakespeare Comedy Love's Labour's Lost. https://www.tohostag...s-labours-lost/

Can someone explain the shedule for me? I don't really understand what the dates with red heart and yellow heart mean?

I'm from Sept. 18th to Okt. 10th in japan and coming on the 9th from Kyoto back to Tokyo for the flight next day, so I would like to watch the musical.

I just can't see, if the date on the 9th 13:30 is just a talkevent or the musical itself?

Nozomi takes just two hours for the distance from Kyoto and its worth the 100€. Edit: Just seen, the Hikari takes only 30minutes more and is with japan rail pass for free.

And whats more important, am I able to order a ticket from germany on one of the mentioned ticketpages??

I could be wrong, but red hearts seem to be normal musical dates/times, and the yellows hearts are talk times. The 8th seems to be with the guys, and the 14th with the girls. Someone please correct me if I read the kanji wrong

If your credit card normally works in Japan (which depends on the bank, the card provider, and the country you're from), it should work to order tickets. If it doesn't, you might consider using a ticket broker like No Country For Tall Men or Japan Concert Tickets who can buy the tickets for you, for a fee.
