Aside from her being the actress of the millennium, Keicchi showing some restraint as she went to rub Natsumin's chin is funny considering all the posts in this thread the last three days.

And that reminded me of a recent Teens Hakusho episodes where they had a bit about the day insects typically come out of hibernation, and the word they used was "keichitsu." I thought it was kind of a neat coincidence assuming she didn't think of the word when she was thinking up her nickname.

She ranked number 31 on the 1st day results of AKB48 5th senbatsu election, chances are she'll ranked this year. You don't how happy and excited I am.

So, uh, am I missing something going on with Keicchi and Aika? I noticed Keicchi had a long string of replies to one of her posts that seemed pretty serious, so I decided to check out 2ch and there are a flood of posts about bullying that seemed to involve Aika.

 

I don't know if this is getting blown out of proportion involving a post Aika made a few days ago where she expressed some frustrations about working in Team N that Keicchi appeared to be a part of, but I wonder if this is more a case of Aika not being comfortable with Keicchi's sense of humor or style. I certainly don't want to make excuses for Keicchi if it's more serious than that, but it's not like it's very well hidden that Keicchi's humor and style can be mean/dominating, even a little uncomfortable at times. I love her, but she's the first person I would think of if there were any accusations of bullying in NMB, so I do hope that's not the case.

 

I'm also sure it's very difficult for Aika anyway, being in a team of established first generation members and struggling with feeling the need to fit in, but I'd be curious if I'm missing any angle on this or if there's been anything more about this.

Well, I'd have to check that sting of posts myself, but so many members of Team N and M have said that Jonishi is a very kind person. Perhaps too kind at times.

 

Did she bottle it up too hard?

 

EDIT: After reading through Nishimura's entry, it sounded more like she said something in one of the theater performance MCs that may have upset Jonishi, and commented about it saying that she doesn't say too much as a follow-up regarding what she previously says, which can be misunderstood, which is why people can get the wrong idea.. Jonishi's immediate response to it was "Don't worry about it.", followed up with "It's fine if you just be yourself. You're pretty funny that way."

 

Then today she talked about how she and Jonishi mailed each other and came to an understanding regarding things, and that they're all best buds now.

Sounds like about what I expected happened, but found it a little odd Keicchi is doing damage control in comments. I couldn't tell if it was more serious or if people are just being dumb and overreacting to something that isn't really there.

It's mostly the latter.

 

People got too attached to her Geinin image, which is that of a ruthless poison-tongued angry woman, and her expressions in her photos mostly make it seem like she's looking down on the person looking at the photo, so I can't blame some people for having the wrong impression of her. Still, I'd trust the actual words of the team N members over my own speculation if an issue were to arise between her and someone else.

 

The core of the problem is that there was a misunderstanding between her and Nishimura, but that's all taken care of already. That's the good thing about the 48 group really; if they butt heads or a misunderstanding happens, they're quick to act upon it, having one-on-one talks to try to understand each other's view points. It happened with Takahashi Minami a lot, as well as several other members, but they know that beating around the bush isn't going to solve anything really.
