I'm still sad Mini Moni only has 5 pages on this forum (ok, now 6).  To me they are one of the greatest things to ever come from Hello! Project.

That said, I was watching a 2003 H!P concert for the first time last night and this was truly the highlight of it for me...The whole where is Mika thing was so cute (I think they were actually giving her time to change since she just performed with Coconut Musume).

Note: Yaguchi's face at 1:05 doing the "aii" is so priceless.

 

 

Question: at the beginning when they keep pointing at the audience and saying what sounds like "yo - skoo", I said that in my translator and I get "nice to meet you," is that what they're saying?

^ it's yoroshiku or よろしく

a shortened form of the phrase "yoroshiku onegaishimasu" which is literally "please be nice" but is more like "nice to meet you" (so, your translator was spot-on!)

 I think when this forum started, Mini Moni wasn't active, and it's hard have an active topic about a group without news. But, of course, there are lots of videos, pictures and other stuff to enjoy.

^ And yeah, that topic was actually covered earlier in the thread, but I just felt like venting about it again... for me its just fun to be able to talk about Mini Moni among other fans of which I certainly don't have at my disposal locally.

 

As much as I felt the intro skit was a bit dragged out (finding Mika) I've actually uploaded the FULL video skit (and in higher quality)... after all you get to see the MM girls do their routine in both slow and fast motion.  Nozomi's slow-mo... omg.

 I agree, Gibzilla. While Morning Cop and others movies are quite bad, this is funny all the way, and can be enjoyed the same by kids and grown up people.

Oh wow... the floodgates have opened.  Thanks - I'm used to only watching things from DVD (preferred) but I think I'll be checking these out... Petit vs Mini!  EPIC!

This is kind of off-topic, so excuse me. It relates tangentially to Ai Kago and Ai Takahashi, so bear with me . . .

There was a movie starring Aya Matsuura and it featured Morning Musume. It was called "Victory! Futto Girls no Seishun." It was a somewhat silly sports-related film, underdog group of misfits overcoming, you've probably seen something like this before. There were a few serious moments, though. Aya's mother died, and there was an issue of her dad worrying about her health. Another girl in the movie was fatherless, her mother was an alcoholic, and a guy was trying to lure her into being an 'escort.' Anyway, there were quite a few funny and cute parts, and like I said, Ai Kago and Ai Takahashi (and other MM members) have bit parts. If you like Becky, note that she has a supporting role as well. Yeah - Matsura's face plant into the ground during their entry was funny... thanks for sharing.  Too bad Maki Goto wasn't in it.  But to be honest her acting is rather weak but I just love to look at her
