mv for their new single is out! i love it sm omg, i think this is what might finally push me to fully stanning nogi lol. first the song is really nice, it's kinda the usual nogi sound but i love the melody. the mv though is perfect!!! first the outfits in the dance part are really really pretty but it caught me off guard when the cameras zoomed out and it became a meta thing LOL but i love it a lot!!! i kinda wish the other members had a bit more screentime since it was mostly zukki but i don't really mind that much, besides mgmt probably wants to establish zukki after maiyan's grad. anyway i'm a nogi stan now lmao

I keep watching this because it's a genuinely warming video and I really like the song, and I keep coming back to this cursory comparison lodged in my brain between Zukki and Sayanee from NMB in her quieter moments.

I've been watching the Nogizaka Sailor Moon musicals, and they've had me in tears. They're just so, so wholesome, and I want to encourage everyone to watch them as the music, the casting, and just everything about them is such a beautiful realisation of everything that Sailor Moon means.

You should! It's so, so good. I mean, I know I'm biased because I love the story as it is, but there's so much heart in each of these performances.

a bit late, but nogizaka46 announced their 27th single some time ago! it's titled gomen ne fingers crossed and centered by endo sakura, who was the 4th gen airdrop center for yoakemade tsuyogaranakutemoii back in 2019. it's also matsumura sayuri's last single since she recently announced graduation. the single releases early june, the 9th to be exact. i would make a thread but i don't think it's necessary since 48/46g don't have that many fans here lol, the general thread is fine really

 

i'm surprised this comes so shortly after their last single, but i'm looking forward to it regardless. the radio preview is already out, and it's definitely a new sound for nogi - almost everyone i've seen voice their opinions on it says it sounds a lot like yoasobi, and i definitely hear it too. honestly since i got into idols (coming on 2 years by the time this comes out, jesus lol) i've been surprised that idol hasn't had more of a vocaloid influence - especially considering how close the two are - besides smaller alt-idol acts of course, but maybe this is when it finally starts happening among mainstream idols lol. i love yoasobi a lot though (yoru ni kakeru is probably my favorite song of 2019/2020, and ayase is an amazing producer - off topic but ghost city tokyo is a banger) so i'm happy to see a mainstream idol act influenced by them, especially one as big as nogi.

 

i'm really excited to see the music video and how sakuchan does as a center, as well as the general concept and the b-sides. overall i'm really excited!
