That does give me some hope, though it does seem unlikely. I still get super sad every time a Kobushi song comes on because they had so much going for them.

If you listen to something as badass as "Come With Me" it should almost be enough to piss you off that they disbanded.

Hamachan also said the group is personally tighter now than before, that they talk to each other more and are better friends. I suspect, barring anything tragic or scandalous, that we will see a reunion far down the road, not unlike Melon Kinenbi getting togwther on rare occasions.

I'd love for them to have some kind of public meet up in the future, even if it's just something very simple online. Even if we never get that, I'm still glad they were able to go out the way they wanted with the group as was, just like °C-ute did.

Ayano has a new play coming up, June 2 - June 6.

She is apparently taking over a role that was originally to be played by Tanaka Reina.

The two competing thoughts here based on Reina's news post about the play and the official statements are that UF themselves had disagreements with the production company about covid measures, or that the role was actually competitive and that those aforementioned lack of safety restrictions were the last straw for Reina to drop the role and for Ayano to be chosen. I'm inclined to believe the former since the stage production has a bit of a reputation for being difficult to work with and Hama herself has shown that she's not quite as put off by potentially problematic jobs even with her new management under Warner. Either way, it could be an opportunity for Hamachan to show what she can do.

That, and she needs to get her foot in the door a bit more. It's a risk she may need to take in her managements eyes.
