There is no thread for "Namahamu & Yakiudon", so I'll post it here. Not sure how good are they as idols, but their gags are funny. They became somewhat popular and recently were invited to "Nakai no mado" tv-show.

^^Their jokes are actually part of their performances. Their 10minute set at TIF was half jokes half song.

Their TIF appearance was pretty heartbreaking, they were so sad at the end I think they didn't have many votes from the audience(I still have trouble holding complicated japanese numbers in my head as they're said, should probably do some maths problems to practice or something lol). They were sort of being cheerful through the tears, even comedians have feelings ;_;

Well, there were breaks in their activity, but anyhow they're still active, though it seems like now they're not so popular.

I saw them in 2011 when Panta (Zunou Keikatsu/Brain Police) was their musical director - I'm not sure if he's still involved with them - and they performed regularly at Hatsudai Doors; the night (and the reason) I went to their show Meiko Kaji was also performing. I enjoyed them and intended to go see them again, but it didn't work out, and while I don't own any CDs by them I do have a laserdisc.

Sudden announcement for 10COLOR'S fans,

All the members will graduate from the group on the 25th September

Fans are still not sure if the group will disband or get new members because there were auditions for new members and for a new unit in their company.

 

It's a pity, they had so much potential

Namahamu & Yakiudon's songs are actually quite good, I'm surprised. They do everything by themselves (song composing, skit writing, stage arrangements, etc) and they're not attached to any agency. Too bad, Yaguchi didn't acknowledge them as idols, she called them "self-proclaimed idols", well, which is true in some sense, but not having major debut yet, having no PVs and burning CDs by themselves and yet having a lot of "gluttons" ("食いしん坊" , that's how their fans are called) and at some point gathering over 1000 guests on Live - isn't that amazing? I hope someone will make a thread for them someday
