Oh and that Pink Babies' performance was bomb. Were they live? Either way, impressed by their moves and stamina will have to keep an eye on them from now on.   

 

It was live.  Pink Babies do Pink Lady covers exclusively.  Nothing else.  Glad you like them.  Maybe I should make a thread since I've been their fan for some months now.  

 

 

 

They're that good live and only do covers? I would say what a waste but I love Pink Lady, covering their material will never be a waste.

^ He's 25 years old. Or maybe he wants to add 25 "wives." Or maybe it's random. All I know is that he's talented, S/mileage's Kanon has been promoting them like crazy, and they're pretty fun to watch live, if this video is any indication.

I'm not too surprised that St Bonapro School are ending. It seemed like a very low-budget group, and the high turnover of members make me suspect that possibly it wasn't very well managed. On the plus side, I was able to buy their digital singles at amazon.com, something I can't say for the big name idol groups I follow. Well, I hope to see my girl Rico reappear in another group soon.

Idol fans might want to follow this new TV show, Idol Otakarakuji.
This is its 3rd show.


How the show works.
On show no.1 they had invited 5 idol groups to perform live infront of a live audience. Just like a Livehouse but they just sing 1 song.
After the show the audience would vote which groups to come back for next weeks show. The top 3 will come back to the show while the groups that didn't make it will be replaced with new groups. And the cycle repeats for every show. I think a group cannot sing the same song twice.

Chu-Z was on the show from the start, i.e. show no.1. They said that the 1st show they got 3rd place, for the 2nd show they got 2nd place.

Its an interesting concept so far

I only started following it from the 2nd show, so I am not sure which group started the 1st show other than Chu-Z.
