Magazine Record Collector just did an attempt in canon-making with their top100 idol records from 1970 to 1979.

【特集】日本の女性アイドル・ソング・ベスト100　1970-1979

Much like this year's TIF, the groups get 15 or 20 minutes except a few "big" groups that get 30.  And there's overlap with many of the groups I like, not that I'm going.  Hopefully there will be cameras catching the action, but I haven't seen TIF footage of some of my favorite groups yet so I probably won't be seeing any footage of my favorites at @JAM either.

Pineapple Stage is a collaboration with MTV81 and they plan to stream the performances via USTREAM. Pineapple Stage is targeted for overseas fans.

I'm not sure if the rest of @JAM EXPO would be broadcast over any media like TIF does. I hope they do *cross-fingers*

I dig it. There seems to be some controversy surrounding them from the Western audience, but barring any judgment about their conceptualization, I think that the song is really catchy, the MV is cute, and the girls are all delightful. I doubt they will see too much success or popularity, but I enjoy them as an idol group in general and I think anything in Japan promoting self-confidence and better body image is a good.
