That last tweet is pretty upsetting, assuming we're not reading too much into it.

I play a mobile game that UraKiss was part of and I do know that she was absolutely the least popular member of that unit, and to think that might have factored into any decisions she might have made... It's not great. She deserved better.

Misaki, who did many of their early "meme" videos with Hina and seemed to be quite close to her, did a Line Live earlier and was obviously a mess. A friend told me that in the beginning of the stream she told viewers "I'm sure you're coming up with various things, I'd be glad if you didn't tweet that kind of stuff... Also please don't post screenshots from this stream, it's really sad" so...I guess it does indeed speak for itself. She then reminisced and shared some old videos. Ended the stream with playing a song on guitar and singing. Good way to deal with grief if you ask me.

Zeroichi Familia launched its 2nd idolgroup, after #ババババンビ (#babababambi)

its called #2i2, and had a concept of Android

 

it has 2 ex idols from Necopla (Aoki Risa) and Ready to Kiss (Amau Kisumi)

 

maybe i''l make a new thread after they debuted on December (?)

Necro-ing the thread to ask if maybe someone knows any idol groups who happen to incorporate heavy techno? Anything close to gabber would be interesting to see I think. I feel like Migma Shelter or all those trancecore groups are the closest we got

migma shelter seems to be the only group that really goes hard with the techno/trance sound unfortunately, but i've found some groups that do similar stuff

• koutei camera girl drei - hiphop/trance fusion, i recommend their new way of lovin album from 2018 which imo is a masterpiece
• daidaidai - this is more on the side of digital hardcore but they have some techno sounding stuff i guess?? idk but their mudai ep is really good
• devil no id - more hardstyle/edm ish but kinda sorta techno sounding if you squint on a few tracks from their devillmatic album

you might find some more techno adjacent stuff from edm groups like cy8er and raydroid, but i don't know them that well so i can't really recommend anything from them

 

i can also recommend some kpop groups with songs like this maybe? but there aren't many. also a couple of vocaloid producers but that's even farther removed from idol lol

Does anyone have any idea what the hell happened to Higeki no Heroine Syndrome?

They showed no sign of any close disbandement... The girls had just gotten new elaborated profiles pictures (for a future release?), they were doing well visibility and popularity-wise. Mikuru had announced her graduation and her farewell concert was set on the 5/8. Yet now all of them are gone. Any mention of the group is gone from any of their social media and the HEROIENS website got completely rid of them. What in the world happened? I hope everyone is safe.

They posted on the 23'rd of April that the current members would all graduate.

 

As far as I can see all the (former) members commented on the outcome on their individual twitters - so I don't really follow the "any mention of the group is gone" ?

^ I meant in their bio. Maybe I'm too used to 48 idols, but many 48 graduates have a "Former XXX48 group member" in their insta bio.

It's so girly and cute, I love the outfits from the dancing scenes.

Uta is so prominent yet I hardly find a comment mentionning her in the top ones.

Amu crying during the shoot because the girls were so cute was so heart-warming.

I got into the group for Uta, but Uyu is without a doubt my favourite member.

The music is great, the music videos are entertaining, and the members are all super cute.

This group has a lot of potential, I really hope they do well and keep this ball rolling!
