Thank you for always supporting Swip.

Swip, who has been active since 2015, will disband due to various circumstances with a live performance at Ashibina Outlet Mall on September 15.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to all the fans who have given support so far, and to the families and other people who have given us the members.

The members will continue to work personally after the dissolution, so I would appreciate it if you could watch them as warmly as before.

We are unable to meet the expectations of the fans who have supported Swip so far, and we apologize for our lack of power.

During their four years of activity the Swip members have been in constant flux; different members are present for some periods of time and absent for others then return to fill in when other members are missing.

All the singles are only available as digital downloads but they can be purchased from iTunes or Amazon in my market and I play all of them in order of release while traveling because they are good open road tunes.



The sub-unit single Minna no Shīsā had a short performance digest video produced but the only real Music Video released was for the last single.

The girls perform with some real nice harmonies and 砂川百花 (Sunakawa Momoka) is their strongest vocalist though she graduated on 2018.05.03.


Momo

My oshi is 石原亜莉珠 (Ishihara Arisu) because she is their strongest dancer and one of the better vocalists but she announced her departure without a graduation event on 2018.08.28.


Alice

岸本美月 (Kishimoto Mizuki) always tried so hard but never seemed to get the dance routine quite right and often wore her hair in twin buns that just looked so kawaii and both qualities really endeared her to me. Not an oshi but a real pleasure to watch perform and her unexpected deep voice was always a treat.


Mizuki

For me, the members that are present in a group when I first start following them are who I learn to associate with that group and it is hard for me to identify those who came before or after as the group I follow. These are the members that I identify as the core of the group Swip and most of the vocals in their released singles come from them.

There is a video that I saved from YouTube from the performance where the picture above was taken, Swip 2017 GTO Xmas Special, but it is no longer available, or at least I can no longer find it. The following video is of a performance at the Ashibina Outlet Mall but Riria is not present.
