Miiko spoke some English at tonight's event. Not 100% sure but, it sounded like, "I have a samurai sword. I love Japan. Please fall in love with Japan!"

 

Morisaki also spoke some French since there were some French fans in the audience at Akiba Cultures. 

 

Japanese people are notorious for wearing shoes/sandals at the beach based on the videos I have seen. Sand and seawater in the shoes is much worse than having them on your feet because you're barefoot!

UUG were at Otodama Sea Studio's summer event yesterday.

There were a few but not a whole lot. With the timing of it, they probably were hoping that either people would be sticking around after TIF or be arriving early for @JAM or some other events?

 

I remember when BABYMETAL played Tokyo Dome there were some fans that went to LADYBABY which was a few days later too.

 

Being aware of when people who are idol fans from other countries are likely to have vacation time is pretty important because it's not like anyone would come specifically just for that, no?

 

I remember when Cheeky Parade did one, the turnout was pretty disappointing but it was like on December 14th or something? In the US, that's in the middle of finals week for university isn't it?

Maybe it was the weather, but I bet if they had just walked around advertising they probably could have drawn a significant number of curious tourists who don't know anything about Akiba Culture Zone or UUG (etc)

The weather may have also played a part in it as it was downright awful on Saturday. The thunder and lightning earlier in the day was pretty bad!
