Tower Records presents THE Kansha Matsuri 2017! ! !
On Sunday 22nd January 2017,
At Stellar Ball Shinagawa.

Last year it was known as T-Palette Records Kansha Matsuri.
This year, the event has grown bigger with a total of 14 idol groups from various music labels, not just T-Palette.
Hence the new "Tower Records presents THE Kansha Matsuri 2017".



The main event is the arm wrestling tournament and the video shows defending queen, Morisaki making her preparations.

Since Morisaki is green, can we call her She Hulk already

After I watch the Tower Records Kansha Matsuri PR video again, I just notice Morisaki said something about the winning reward this year is 現金 ( cash ). Correct me if I misheard it.

I saw Maana and Sengoku tweet about UUG's Official Documentary Book.
Haven't seen any other official info on it yet.

Basically, the book will go on sale on 2017-01-30.

The craziness at last nights showroom
It was loud and noisy with all 7 members present
Maana went out for a moment to buy ice cream and snacks.
Then we get to see the girls eat ice cream and munch on snacks as they talk over all sorts of stuff ( not that I understand a single thing )
Next time they want to do that, warn the fans first so we can have some snacks ready.
Man was I hungry watching last nights showroom
By the end of the 1hr 20min livestream, there was over 7000 viewers.

So Terada (Hauptharmonie) was the runner-up last year and Nao was the runner-up the year before? Looks like the Hakoiri Musume girl will be trying to come out of nowhere to defeat Moriti? 

 

Didn't go last year so I have no idea what happened as far as the tournament goes but seeing some of them running makes me think they will still lose. If running helped with arm wrestling then Kamiya Saki of GANG PARADE would be a strong contender since she ran 100km at least 3 times. The "dog squats" were pretty amusing as well.

Yes, Morisaki won it 2 years in a row
Terada had straight wins all the way to the final round.
We were expecting another Nao vs Morisaki but she was the one who beat Nao in the semi-final.

I hope this year Akari win atleast once. Poor girl was devastated last year.
