That video Don't know if it's bad acting or a parody.

Mikoto Perfect idol material. Their songs are decreasingly less to my liking with each release unfortunately. And Akira needs more screen time or attention or whatever...he just seems so out of place being just a regular MALE background dancer in a unit of just girls. Personally, I don't even want him in but that's another story.

The best about this are Yuuno's belly shots (was hoping for Mikoto but oh well...) but not even those can save this...and do I see them doing some wotagei?

lol, the dance version of this is much more tolerable.

 

I found that the dan dan zubi zubaa part (would that be the chorus) was stuck in my head today, so I guess I like it...sort of. It would be better if the weird oni dude wasn't there.

 

Also, I found that Akira's voice sounded really good in this song ironically enough. It was distinct enough that it stood out, but not to the level of being annoying.

According to the Oricon week single ranking (Top 10), the  anime ending theme "Dan Dan Dubi Zuba!" which the five man-and-women group unit "Dream5" and the anime "Yo-Kai Watch" (TV Tokyo system) character ブリー隊長 (Buri Captain) sing sold about 66,000 copies in first week sales and attained the #1 slot for the first time.
The #1 of the man-and-woman group in their teens is the 2nd time in history and for the first time in 40 years and ten months since Finger-5 recorded with "Koi no Dial 6700" in 1974.

Incidentally, Dream5 released their own version of "Koi no Dial 6700" on 2011.01.01... but it didn't make it to #1.

Dream5 have been invited to the 2014 65th NHK Kouhaku!

 

Yahoo News reports that the anime "Yo-Kai Watch" has become a sensation among kids and 500 people (kids with their parents) attended a show where the kids got up and danced to the anime ending theme "Dan Dan Dubi Zuba!".

This was posted above but it's not just Akira, its Momona, Akira and Yuuno plus others...

...now that's dancing.
