Danielle was a member of Coconuts Musume from June 1999 to April 2001. She was one of the original first generation members of the group. Despite not being able to speak Japanese, Danielle was known for having a fun, bubbly personality and a great singing voice to match.

Danielle graduated from Hello! Project to pursue her college education. After a year studying musical theory in Los Angeles she moved to England to study at the Conservatoire for three years, graduating in 2005. She is currently the face of Ruebelle Designs.

Danielle has now married, and is pursuing an acting and singing career in the UK.

I'm surprised she didn't have her own thread! She was awesome in Coconuts Musume and Akagumi 4 She was my fave in CocoMusu after Mika. I love her voice. One of the best vocalists H!P ever had.

I really liked Danielle! She had this bubbly and energetic personality. Even though her Japanese was...well, poor and remained poor, she still seemed to make an effort to cope with her surroundings and get on a friendly basis with H!P members. I remember seeing her on Utaban and the Hawaiian special as part of Akagumi 4 and she was really entertaining! HYAKUMAN EN! HYAKUMAN EN! . Though from the start, she never did look like she belonged with H!P or in Japan, so I guess it's best she left eventually. She still made a good effort

mmmm.... i disagree. There are a couple H!P members that I personally feel were giant mistakes, but this particular pair....not so much.

I think if Danielle would have taken proper Japanese courses (or better ones- i don't know if she took any or not) she may have been able to stay longer. That language barrier is a killer. But she really did have a good voice and a great stage presence.

It's really a shame she couldn't continue with Cocomusu. Now she's just a face in the vault for new weaboo H!P fans to hate on. But, if it weren't for early pioneers like cocomusu, H!P as we know it today would not exist.

And I loved that performance of "Not Yet" by her group. The first time I saw it on MySpace, my thoughts were "Wow, she's lost weight!.....Wow, she sounds great!....Wow, Danielle got sexy!"

Danielle was always a favourite of mine, I remember seeing her in Tokonatsu Musume first and she stood out so much. Her eyes are the most beautiful things ever. That and she has a killer set of lungs that sound amazing.
