Which anime op and endings are your favorites? Please post the youtube video if you can find it so we can all enjoy too!

I have SO MANY favourite openings + endings, but Sailor Moon's opening has been one of my favourites for many years. :3 ♥

In March 2001, I was doing some shopping. I had so much money that I could spend on entertainment, such as DVDs. I knew I had to have Pioneer's latest SAILOR MOON DVD. I saw the store I was in had CARDCAPTOR SAKURA Vol. 1 too. I had only began watching the edited version, CARDCAPTORS, just a few months earlier. But could I afford to buy both? I thought about it and decided "Yes". I couldn't leave the store without both DVDs. This was back when anime DVDs were $30 American. I'm extremely glad I made this decision, as CARDCAPTOR SAKURA became THE ANIME SERIES THAT CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! Well, after I had heard the awesome opening song, "Catch You Catch Me" by Gumi (real name: Megumi Hinata; a.k.a. "Meg Rock"), I had to play this song over and over. I played the DVD I bought every day for three months simply because I wanted to hear the opening song! I swear, I thought I was going to wear the DVD out! Thankfully, I didn't. I still have it, along with the entire series and both movies.



As tempting as it is to post the link for another CARDCAPTOR SAKURA song as my favorite ending, I have to include the anime series that brought me into the world of Japanese animation in a big way: SAILOR MOON. Here's the ending for SAILOR MOON R, or the third ending song. It's titled "Otome No Policy" by Yoko Ishida.

I agree with lots of people. Well for me sailor moon has the best and epic opening (and cause it my fav anime lol)
As for ending, again any of the endings from sailor moon, but i also love detective conan songs

Mmm.. for endings.. I'd have to say Monster's ending. Just.. really sets the mood for the anime. Both the lyrics and the music feels spot on.

That's it for now.......most people skip the opening and ending songs; but to me, sometimes that's the best part about watching anime!!
