i wish they had one-on-one mentoring...zukki would be a really cute and funny mentoree.

or having sayu mentoring the 9th gen would be a great idea too, since she seems to be the one to have taken a liking to 9th gen

^ I know it's very Cute on how Sayumi adores the 9th gen. She's going to be Sub-Leader once Ai graduates and Gaki becomes Leader. So it's good for her to mentor them. I think Kaorin did the same thing when 4th generation joined.

If they are going to the one-on-one mentoring instead of group mentoring, then it would be interesting on who's pairing with who.

initially i wanted to give it to maimai, but then i'm the last one who posted there and i can't double post ( ) so...
i decided to dedicate it to zukki instead

Plus mentoring pairs are very interesting. Sayu seems to like zukki a lot.

I think Aika is more like the unofficial mentor for them currently. There have been a lot of times where Aika has been put to the task of guiding them along and setting a primary example for them, like during photoshoots and dance practices. If she really is their mentor, I wouldn't mind as she seems to be doing a good job with guiding them along

It kinda makes me wonder on who's mentoring Kanon. Because you know when new members join, one mentor gets to mentor them ex Yasuda to Rika, Yaguchi to Yossy, Maki to Aibon, Kaorin to Nono, and so on.

It'll go like this once Ai, Risa and Sayu have graduated:

Reina > Leader
Aika > Sub-Leader

and then when Aika becomes Leader (I will dance because I will be HAPPEH!) t will go like this:

Aika > Leader
Mizuki > Sub-Leader

and then Mizuki will be Leader, Erina sub and then Erina Leader, Riho sub and then Riho leader and kanon sub and then we need to wait till 10th gen before we can get more sub leaders

Maybe it's just me, but I think Reina is gonna go way before Sayumi. And something tells me Aika might stick around a long time just so we won't end up with a 9th gen leader who isn't even an adult. Morning Musume has never had a leader or a subleader who wasn't over the age of 20.

I heard that Reina wants to be leader some day according to some interview I heard.

I have to agree that leaders and sub leaders are usually in their twenties or slightly younger when they tok the job. When Gaki took the role as sub leader at age 18, she was the youngest who ever took that job.

Reina does want to be leader, but that doesn't necessarily mean she'll be there long enough to get it. I just have a feeling that she will end up graduating before Sayumi does. Either that or her, Sayumi and Aika will be kept around a long time so that Morning Musume isn't a group solely of young girls.

The reason I didn't include Risa in that list is because even though she'll be leader soon, I really can't imagine them keeping her around much longer after that. Maybe a year and that would be a serious stretch.

^ I expect her to be leader for at least a year and a half. Possibly no more then that. But I wonder how will Gaki and Sayu handle the 9th gen after Ai leaves.

Considering Sayumi seems to spend the most time with them, I'm sure it'll be fine. She seems to adore Kanon and Riho. And in the past two BijoGaku's I've seen Risa talking to Erina.
