And I can't believe that I forgot that sky blue is already Reina's color I mean, I hadn't forgotten that Reina's color was blue, just that I had forgotten specifically that it was sky blue.

Well, whatever color zukki gets, I hope it is some shade of blue. But any nice bright color would do really

^ the 9th gen event is in February I think so it's not her official color yet
and sky blue is Reina's color anyways so she probably will get blue (unless they decide to reshuffle the colors again )

How often do they reshuffle colors anyway? And I'm kinda not always paying attention to merchandise, so can someone list the colors of the members so far please? Or message them to me?

I wouldn't totally rule it out. There was a tweet a couple days back that this was the year Morning Musume goes on the offensive. I take that to mean that they're going to a lot more in the way of promoting themselves and trying to gain back some popularity they may have lost in the past. And I think getting the members out there is one way they'll do that. And I'm guessing we won't have to wait as long for a 9th Gen PB as we did for an Aika PB.

I hope Kanon is doing better with or after her cold now. She's such a little cheerful and sweet girl.

5th and 6th gens had photobooks after they joined and the girls were all around the ages that 9th gen are so it's not completely out there to make them have a PB too. And there were bikinis, but they were pretty tastefully done so it's not like they'd be out there in little skimpy string things posing sexy poses. It'd probably just have 4 cute young girls having fun (I hope sure hope so).

From what I counted...
6th gen had 25 out of 97 pages (cover included) with bikinis
5th gen had 18 out of 105 pages with bikinis

Most pics were them just standing or sitting there, 6th gen had more in the water pics but 5th gen had the girls more covered by objects or how they were sitting. As long as they did something like for these I think it'd be find for them having a book.
I think S/mileage's swimsuit calender picture was pretty basic (for lack of a better word) too compared to the other calenders being that they're so young as well.

Whatever they do, I'm looking forward to some nice official pictures of all the girls.

I think...the colours for the new members (from the color of the words behind them and the frames around them on the last Bijou Gaku episode) were these:
Fukumura
Ikuta
Sayashi
Suzuki

But, well, no confirmations yet. I think the red goes well for Riho, and Ai's graduating soon so a color reshuffle now would be a bit too late, though yeah, it is a leader-like color. I was kind of surprised that Kanon got blue - I'd have thought orange or yellow, but blue would probably suit her.

really? I downloaded SouSou from Sayumin (she was like 16?) I thought it was pretty erotic at some parts....(Oh I know that there are more racy stuff in Japan. I don't care, cause we are talking about H!P not what others do)

and those 5&6 gen's photobook were tame, true, but they were years ago...I haven't seen a photobook like Makoto's or W's in H!P in a very long time...

Look I know I'm alone in this but for me a 12-old-girl shouldn't pose in bikini, period. Specially since the majority of people who are going to buy this could be her parent or even grandparent... I'm not saying that photobooks are child porn or something, however they are not the most innocent thing either. Just looking at the comments for Risako's or Mai's bikini photos give me creeps.

Of course, if Kanon feels like doing it and her parents concent it then more power to them. I just hope UFA treats the matter with caution

^You are not alone in that. I really don't want 9th gen to get a PB if they have bikini's as some of the costumes. I just wouldn't feel right about it personally. zukki just seems too young for something like that.

But if I remember correctly, 5th gens first PB didn't have any bikini's in it so it's possible we'd get a 9th gen one without. That I wouldn't mind at all and I think it'd be just another way to get the members faces out there so it could be great

It all comes down to the individual person who buys the PB. How they use it, it really is out of our hands. For example Airi's dad buys her PB and even proudly shows it to his golfing buddies. We can't deny ppl like Airi's dad who genuinely is proud of their daughter's PB. I think Sayu's grandpa also collects Sayu's PB. And if a girl becomes uncomfortable doing a solo PB they can say "No". Look at Reina, all of a sudden she stops releasing PB's. Yes we have no solid proof that Reina is saying no to PBs but what other explaination do we have? And for 12 yo girls, no one is going to force them to do a PB unless they want to do it.

Reina does want to release a new PB but has said that there are some issues at management level that's preventing it for now.

sorry but it doesn't change the fact that a 12 yearold girl could release material that is intended to a male public much much older than her. About how these people use it, well of course there are decent people, however let's not play silly here, we know why there is this huge bikini boom . If you want to see a girl being pretty in a collection of photos she can perfectly fully clothed being so
